→ Ruffin, one of the nation’s craftiest ball-handlers, had all of his tricks on full-display in Dallas. As NP Force’s primary facilitator, shot-creator and press-handler, the 5-foot-9-inch altruist played with a phenomenal balance of dishing on the drive and keeping it for himself. It was a small task for Ruffin to create separation against most of his competition, utilizing his vision and on-ball iQ to attack defenders one-on-one before taking the ball through traffic and passing off a pretty dime or going up for himself.
Athletically, Ruffin’s prowess may be the most important facet of his game, conducive primarily to his ability to score but also helping his ability to pass. He was among the fastest prospects in the gym Saturday as he used his acceleration-to-elevation to produce easy scoring opportunities for himself at the rim.
Jimel Cofer | Drive Nation PG | Schoolhouse Prep (FL) ’21 |
→ Utilizing quickness and a mean change-of-direction, Cofer was an outstanding and integral piece to the success of Drive Nation last weekend in their 4-0 home-stand. He has the type of skill-set — lateral quickness, foot-work and more — that allows him to create separation inch-by-inch until he breaks loose with empty space between himself and the rim. He used this technique to excellence repeatedly at the event.
Cover also has a pretty good shot, and his technique is consistent, smooth and sound. He pulled up a few shots from deep as well as converting on triples from the catch with some sets ran for him to hit shots.

→ Pedulla received attention from a host of Texan and national media outlets after a 32-point performance against Drive Nation in a 2-point loss to Keyonte George Keyonte George 6'5" | SG IMG Academy | 2022 State #4 Nation FL & crew. The floor general from the 405 was handling dual roles as TBB’s primary scorer and its shot-creator with Division-I efficiency.
The guard has remarkable skills in both respects: distributing in traffic, vision, finishing skills at the rim and a shot from the handle, to name a few. He was one of the most efficient players in the gym, using an array of moves appropriate for whichever area of the game needed his talents with little-to-no-waste and great shot-efficiency.
Pedulla has a rapid first step, a skill that often does not receive the praise it deserves; many of his best buckets came with that utility to first create separation before he could use his craft closer to the rim.
