Cooper DeJean Cooper DeJean 6'2" | CG OABCIG | 2021 State IA | Martin Bros. PG | Battle Creek-Ida Grove (IA) ’21 |
A hard commit to play football at Iowa, DeJean’s versatile athleticism was present and provided an important role for Martin Bros. DeJean is very explosive, and he was able to play above the rim even in the half-court while maintaining his threat as a passer and shooter, as well. He could even scrap in the post and played a point-forward role on a few occasions to concentrate the defense near the rim. An all-around passer, scorer, rebounder and everything in-between, DeJean was fun to watch in Kansas City.
Reid Grant Reid Grant 6'1" | PG Johnston | 2021 State IA | Kingdom Hoops PG | Johnston (IA) ’21 |
Grant displayed an array of his skills at the event. The on-ball slasher was slippery, elusive and finished well against contact near the rim. He manipulated, twisted and spun the ball in impressive fashion to produce buckets for Kingdom Hoops. Grant passed the ball well in the half-court, too, and he Also somewhat of a glue point, Grant handled external duties like rebounding hustling for the ball and playing stout defense.
Anton Brookshire Anton Brookshire 6'2" | PG Kickapoo | 2021 State #146 Nation MO | Yanders Law PG | Kickapoo (MO) ’21 |
The Missouri-commit shot the ball with green-light efficiency last weekend. In a match with Team Buddy Buckets, Brookshire pulled up from deep, time-after-time to launch and net deep shots out of the dribble. His speed, meanwhile, helped him to convert on difficult shots near the rim.
Connor Arment | YOBO PG | Barstow (MO) ’21 |
A knock-down shooter, Arment converted on five shots from deep against Team Buddy Buckets while playing as impressively as a facilitator. Arment played like a born playmaker, helping teammates by distributing pure passes with elite precision and scoring the rock with athleticism.
Isaac Haney Isaac Haney 6'1" | CG Kickapoo | 2021 State MO | Yanders Law PG | Kickapoo (MO) ’21 |
A slashing ball-handler with a full arsenal of moves, Haney displayed a versatile skill-set last weekend. He has rapid, developed foot-work and a number of clean maneuvers to get himself open looks about the interior, while his intuition was habitually one step ahead of his opponents’. The Missouri-State commit notched 20 points against Team Buddy Buckets in a tight loss.
