These are the six 2024 sharp shooting prospects from the state of Nebraska that are playing in the #HardWorkSzn Classic in Elkhorn, Nebraska.
Jaden Jackson Jaden Jackson 6'1" | SG Bellevue West | 2024 State #312 Nation NE
Jackson is a strong shooting guard with a smooth jump shot. He is also a good defender that plays physical and keeps ball handlers in front of him. Jackson has range on his jump shot, can attack close outs with the dribble, and score through contact. He missed a couple makable threes, but it is hard to find a flaw in his shot.
Harrison Long
Long is a knockdown shooter that was perfect from the floor in his first game of the night. He didn’t force anything and hit multiple shot up threes in both halves. Long found space for kick out passes and went 5/5 from three in game one. He wasn’t perfect in game two, but continued to find space and make shots.
Ayden Zikmund
Zikmund caught fire in the second half of Team Nebraska Express’ first game of the night. He hit 4 straight three point shots on consecutive possessions and forced the opposing team to take a timeout. He has good size for a wing and rebounded well to go along with his impressive shooting performance.
Maverick Binder
Binder is a skilled guard that can finish at the rim with creativity and has range on his jump shot. His shot is smooth and on balance with a high arch. When the defense doesn’t extend or contest, Maverick is not afraid to put the shot up. Binder pushes the ball up the floor quickly in transition and can make plays for himself and others.
Corbin Mitchell
Mitchell is a strong big combo forward that can get physical inside and stretches the floor as a shooter. He shot well from the corners and trailed plays to walk into open shots. At times you’d like Mitchel to spend more time on the interior, but when he starts knocking down shots from deep you understand why he spend time on the perimeter.
Wes Frost
Frost might not have hit as many shots as he would have liked Friday night, but he saw a few fall and created space for teammates to operate. He has a solid handle on the ball and vision as a passer. Frost made shots from the corners and had a nice behind the back pass in transition in the Crusaders last game of the night.
