This upcoming season is vital for many players as they hope to increase their stocks and garner the attention of more coaches.
Tyce Paulsen Tyce Paulsen 6'5" | SG Curtis | 2023 State WA (Curtis)
The freshman stepped up big time for the Vikings playing an instrumental role during his first season. Paulsen is a guard who already has a strong ability to score the ball with his jump off the dribble or catch-and-shoot. The guard is very confident with the ball in his hands and has great instincts, reading the defenders really well. An outstanding shooter from beyond the arc, who can also put the ball on the court and hit the midrange or attack the rim. Paulsen moves well without the ball as well, making him even more dynamic and more difficult to guard.
Cayden McDaniel Cayden McDaniel 6'3" | CG BFL Prep | 2023 State WA (Wilson)
The lengthy McDaniel is a fearless competitor on both ends of the court. McDaniel can really shoot the ball efficiently from deep but also has the skillset to attack the rim with his crafty finishes. McDaniel has a ton of confidence with the ball in his possession and loves to attack the defense. The 6-foot-2 guard distributes the ball well and is a strong rebounder and defender. A player who plays with a high motor all game long and impacts the game when he steps on the court.
Nahmier Robinson Nahmier Robinson 5'10" | PG Skyline | 2023 State WA (Rainier Beach)
The two-sport athlete has excelled for the Vikings both on the gridiron and on the court. Robinson is an explosive guard who has a tight handle, quick first step to go with his strong ability to score the ball with his jump shot, or when he attacks the basket. Robinson is a very shifty guard who pushes the tempo of an offensive and has great court finish to find the open man. The 5-foot-8 guard will be a big-time recruit by the end of his senior year.
Taki Uluilakepa Taki Uluilakepa 5'11" | CG Puyallup | 2023 UT (Puyallup)
The Vikings guard score 10 points to along with 1.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals for a talented squad. Uluilakepa is a grinder and does the little things to help his team succeed. The 5-foot-11 guard has a great awareness of the game already, making a lot of good decisions with the ball, controlling the pace of the game, and has hit some big-time shots to help his team. Uluilakepa may be young but he does not lack confidence and will go at a defender with his shifty handle and smooth jump shot. A confident player who does not back down from anyone and the spotlight.
Tyshawn Cordon (Steilacoom)
Cordon, who earned HM during his first season left a mark proving that he has the potential to be one of the top players in the area. The 6-foot-3 guard showed a glimpse during the season that he will be a threat to the opposing team as he levels up into his high school careers. A confident and strong player who can score the ball and distribute it well. Cordon will play an even bigger role for the Sentinels next season. Cordon is a floor general who can handle the ball and push the tempo, creating quality opportunities for himself with his jump shot or attack the basket.
