Players continue to develop and expand their game and it has been exciting to follow to their progression. This upcoming season is vital for many players as they hope to increase their stocks and garner the attention of more coaches.
Mason Landdeck Mason Landdeck 6'2" | PG Desert Hills | 2021 State UT (Zillah)
A very crafty guard who can really score the ball, whether that’s around the basket or with his jump shot. With his quick first step and playmaking abilities, it is very difficult to guard Landdeck. The 6-foot-1 guard already holds two big offers, Eastern Washington and Point Loma Nazarene, but his recruiting should pick up a more as he heads into his senior season. The kid can really put on a show with his flashiness but do not be fooled, Landdeck is efficient and effective when he gets in a groove.
Omari Maulana Omari Maulana 6'1" | PG Life Christian Academy | 2021 State WA (Life Christian)
You will be hearing a lot of Maulana during his senior campaign. The Eagles standout is extremely hard working and you see it transition into the games so well. The 6-foot-1 guard can do a lot of damage with the ball in his hands, but it is his leadership that really catches the attention of many. Maulana does a lot of great things off the court and will do anything on the court to help his team succeed. Maulana is a confident and strong player who can really score the ball at will while being a great floor general and defender.
Connor Drinkwine Connor Drinkwine 6'2" | SG Emerald Ridge | 2021 State WA (Emerald Ridge)
Drinkwine will play an even bigger role next year for the Jaguars. The rising senior can flat out scorch the net from deep but can also put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. Do not mistake him as just a shooter because Drinkwine has great vision and skills with the ball in his hands. Drinkwine’s ability to move without the ball and spot up with rhythm from anywhere on the court makes him a very dangerous threat and when he gets going, it can be a long night for the opposing team. Drinkwine is a length player who has active hands and feet on both ends of the court.
Julian Agosto Julian Agosto 5'11" | PG Nathan Hale | 2021 State WA (Nathan Hale)
A very quick and shifty guard who can really do it all. Agosto is a well-rounded player who has great instincts offensively and defensively. The 5-foot-10 guard can really fill up the stat sheet and this past season he demonstrated just that scoring nearly 18 points per contest to go along with 6.1 assists, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.2 steals. Agosto really knows how to breakdown a defender and beat them whether that off the dribble or moving without the ball and is a consistent scorer at all three levels. Expect more schools to be added to Agosto’s recruiting list after his senior campaign.
John Christofilis John Christofilis 6'4" | SG O'Dea | 2021 State #185 Nation WA (O’Dea)
The 3-star recruit already has a phenomenal list of Division 1 schools recruiting him, but I am sure that he will grasp the attention of more with his strong skill set and high IQ. Christofilis is a very confident and poise player who can really impact the game in a lot of ways. The 6-foot-4 guard has a very strong shooting ability with his smooth stroke. Christofilis is athletic and has good footwork and handles to create space to knock down shots from anywhere on the floor but also distribute the ball efficiently if needed.
