Superstar power forward Isaiah Jackson Isaiah Jackson 6'9" | PF Waterford Mott | 2020 State #27 Nation MI , has graduated but there are seniors to be that are ready to take the reigns. We will look at 2 2021’s from Waterford Mott that are more than capable to lead their squad deep in the playoffs next season.
A’Zion ’Zeke’ Price (2021, SF, Waterford Mott)
Price is a supremely talented wing. He is a driver and cutter at heart. He plays downhill at all times on offense, utilizing his strength on a straight line drive to the rim. Price is a great finisher at the rim and is excellent in transition. He’s a solid defender on the wing, having the ability to lock up his man and create turnovers. Price is working to improve his ball handling and his jumper. He’s been hard at work through the lockdown. Price has focused on his strength and conditioning by doing push ups and working at the track. He has clear cut goals for next season. As an individual, he wants to be an all-conference and all-state performer. Price hopes to lead his team to a league title, beat the top teams in the state, and go to the Breslin Center. He knows that in order for that to happen, every player will have to go hard every second they are on the court.
Trayale Solomon Trayale Solomon 5'11" | CG Waterford Mott | 2021 State MI (2021, G, Waterford Mott)
Solomon is the type of perimeter player that every coach wants on their roster. His game starts and ends on the defensive end. He has the potential to be an elite perimeter defender next season. Solomon can shut down an opponent in a 1-on-1 matchup and he plays very good team defense. He’s an excellent finisher at the rim as well. Solomon has good body control around the basket. He’s extremely valuable on the break since he can handle, dish, and finish. Solomon has been working to improve his 3 point shot. Over the lockdown, he’s been working out to stay in shape and putting up shots at the park. Individually, Solomon has a goal to get scholarship offers next season. As a team, he wants a trip to the Breslin Center and a state title. Solomon believes that his team’s defensive toughness will be the key to a successful season.
