Mason Shirley Mason Shirley 6'1" | PG Allen County-Scottsville | 2021 State KY , Allen-County Scottsville – Shirley is one of the most underrated players in all of the 2021 class. He led his team in nearly every statistical category last season and should be a contender for first team all region in the 4th this season. Mason could be a great pick up for a NAIA or a high academic D3 program.
Aziel Blackwell Aziel Blackwell 6'0" | PG Henry Clay | 2021 State KY , Henry Clay – Blackwell had to find a role for himself last season after transferring in from out of state. Now that the Blue Devils have graduated a lot of talent, Aziel is going to have the opportunity to play a much bigger role in his Senior season. More of a passer than a scorer, Blackwell should get the chance to showcase his scoring a little more this season.
Sam Campbell Sam Campbell 6'0" | PG Oldham County | 2021 State KY , Oldham County – Campbell is an elder statesmen in the 8th region. It seems like he’s been around for a long while now. His numbers dipped a little bit in his Junior year but that’s because Oldham has a talented and deep group around him with no true star among them. Don’t be surprised if Sam has a shot at first team all 8th region this season as Oldham is the heavy favorite to win the region.
Austin Griffin Austin Griffin 5'11" | PG Shelby County | 2021 State KY , Shelby County – Shelby County limped to a 7 win season last year but it wasn’t due to lack of effort from Austin Griffin Austin Griffin 5'11" | PG Shelby County | 2021 State KY . Griffin led the team in scoring and put up decent shooting numbers despite being covered by the opposition’s best defender most nights and being forced to take tough shots for his team to have any shot at picking up a win. Shelby won 3 of their last 4 games last season and took Anderson County to the wire in the district tournament. Don’t sleep on them as a team that could make the regional tournament. If they do make it, Griffin is likely to be a big reason why.
