Jack Rose Jack Rose 6'5" | SG Westosha Central | 2022 State #213 Nation WI — Westosha Central — SG
Rose is one of the state’s best overall shooters, regardless of class. He can catch and shoot, knock down shots off the dribble, and has almost unlimited shooting range. Rose averaged 17.5 points per game as a sophomore and made 43 threes. The shooting guard’s biggest strength is his uncanny ability to make shots that most defenders simply can’t stop.
Maximus Nelson Maximus Nelson 6'7" | PF Appleton North | 2022 State #236 Nation WI — Appleton North — PF
As a 6-foot-7 power forward, you might not think that Nelson deserves a spot on this list. But, he is an extremely efficient shooter who is a perfect stretch four for Appleton North. Nelson’s great shooting touch has allowed him to earn the attention of top college programs like Wisconsin, Marquette, and Stanford. Nelson is expected to be one of the best players in the FVA next season.
Armani Jones Armani Jones 5'8" | PG Brown Deer | 2022 State WI — Brown Deer — PG
What Jones lacks in height, he makes up for in quickness and shooting ability. As a sophomore at Brown Deer, the 5-foot-8 point guard averaged 20.4 points per game and shot the ball at a very efficient clip, making 50 threes. Jones can use his quickness to create separation and knockdown midrange pull up jumpers. Because he is such a good shooter, the BD point guard is very tough to stop.
Jackson Paveletzke Jackson Paveletzke 6'1" | CG Kimberly | 2022 State WI — Kimberly — SG
Paveletzke won’t wow anybody with his athleticism, but he has developed into a lethal shooter. On a Kimberly team that featured multiple seniors, Paveletzke scored 13.1 points per game and converted on 54 three-pointers. In his junior year, Paveletzke should be able to step up and produce at an even higher level. Expect big things from the Papermaker guard in the 2020-21 season.
Andrew Alia Andrew Alia 6'2" | SG Kenosha St. Joseph | 2022 State WI — Kenosha St. Joseph — SG
Alia can convert on jumpers from anywhere. He averaged 19.8 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 46 percent from beyond the arc. The Kenosha St. Joseph standout didn’t get a ton of coverage during his sophomore season, but he was primed to break out during the AAU season. Keep an eye on Alia — he is a player that is ready to take his play to the next level.
Andrew Rohde Andrew Rohde 6'6" | SG Brookfield Central | 2022 State WI — Brookfield Central — SG
Rohde doesn’t get the same attention that his teammates at Brookfield Central get, but the shooting guard is arguably the best shooter that the Lancers have to offer. In the 2019-20 season, Rohde averaged 8.5 points per game on one of the best teams in the state while also making 45 percent of his attempts from deep. In the 2020-21 season, Rohde will be the perfect complement to Ben Nau Ben Nau 6'1" | PG Brookfield Central | 2021 State WI and David Joplin David Joplin 6'8" | SF Brookfield | 2021 State #54 Nation WI .
