Region 5-6A
1. 2021 6-5 F Franklin Almonte Franklin Almonte 6'6" | PF Dalton | 2021 State GA – Dalton
One of the top rebounders in the entire nation. Averaged 22.6 points, 17.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 2 blocks while shooting 45-126 (36%) from three. Crashes the glass relentlessly. Quick second leaper. Blocks shots with his left hand. May need a little more polish but can’t teach his motor and can’t ignore his productivity. Could explode onto recruiting radars.
2. 2021 6-4 PF Omarion Smith Omarion Smith 6'5" | PF Douglas County | 2021 State GA – Douglas County
Pound-for-pound the best shot blocker in Georgia since his freshman year. Averaged 10.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1 steal and 5.6 blocks. Outstanding wingspan and impeccable timing make the undersized forward one of the toughest players to score on inside. Explosive athlete plays above the rim. Offensive game has steadily developed. Has more confidence driving the ball but still needs a perimeter shot. Post game has gotten much better with his footwork.
3. 2021 6-5 W Kervens Yacinthe Kervens Yacinthe 6'5" | SF Paulding County | 2021 State GA – Paulding County
Long wing that does a good job getting downhill. Lefty is a streaky three-point shooter. Helps out on the glass and has the tools to become a plus defender on the perimeter. Averaged 21.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals while shooting 29-101 (29%) from three.
4. 2021 6-3 SG Kristian Ford Kristian Ford 6'5" | SG East Paulding | 2021 State GA – East Paulding
Well-rounded shooting guard that can change games with his outside shooting. Doesn’t need much space to pull from deep. Has improved his ability to get to the basket as well as his ball handling. Can stop on a dime from the mid-range. Posted 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2 steals.
5. 2021 6-6 F Justyn Smith – Rome
Long athlete that’s still scratching the surface. Can occasionally stretch the floor with his three-point range. Hits the glass for putbacks. Aggressive rebounder.
