Seth Trimble Seth Trimble 6'3" | PG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #50 Nation WI — Menomonee Falls – PG
Trimble is the best point guard prospect in the state’s 2022 class. He is often recognized for his scoring and athletic ability, but the Menomonee Falls point guard is also a terrific passer. As a sophomore, Trimble averaged 3.8 assists per game. The point guard is also a really solid floor general. He can control the pace of the game while distributing the ball to open teammates.
Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI — Milton — PG
Campion is one of the best ball handlers in the state. The Milton point guard pairs his dribbling skills with great passing ability. In the 2019-20 season, Campion tallied 4.8 assists per game while helping Milton put up 63.2 points per game. Campion is a player that schools should definitely keep an eye on.
Casey Verhagen Casey Verhagen 6'0" | PG Sheboygan Area Lutheran | 2022 State WI — Sheboygan Lutheran — PG
Passing is Verhagen’s biggest strength on the court. As a sophomore, the Sheboygan Lutheran point guard dished out 9.3 assists per game while tallying just 2.9 turnovers per game. Verhagen is the perfect lead guard and facilitator for Lutheran. A big summer on the AAU Circuit will put the PG on the radar of multiple colleges.
Charlie Pfefferle Charlie Pfefferle 5'9" | PG Xavier | 2022 State WI — Xavier — PG
Pfefferle was an underrated prospect in the 2019-20 season. The 5-foot-11 point guard is really effective in transition as a passer and he had a great overall year, yet he didn’t receive a ton of coverage. As a sophomore, he averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 7.4 assists while helping Xavier to a 19-6 record. Pfefferle may not be on college radars at the moment, but his time will come.
Micah Causey Micah Causey 5'9" | PG St. Thomas More | 2022 WI — St. Thomas Moore — PG
Causey impressed scouts last summer while playing for Wisconsin Playground Club on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The 5-foot-8 guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands. He can use his speed to get in the paint and break down a defense. Once in the paint, Causey has great court vision, which he uses to find open teammates. The PG averaged 5.2 assists per game last season as a sophomore.
Tyler Borowski Tyler Borowski 6'2" | PG Appleton East | 2022 State WI — Appleton East — PG
Borowski is a key part of the rebuilding project that is currently taking place at Appleton East. Last year, the Patriots started four sophomores (Borowski being one of them). In the future, the point guard will play the critical role of distributor for AE. In the 2019-20 season, Borowski did a nice job of passing the ball and running the offense. He led his team in assists per game with 4.9 per contest.
Carson Leuzinger Carson Leuzinger 6'0" | PG Hutchinson | 2022 State WI — Monroe — PG
At 5-foot-11, Leuzinger is a bit undersized for a point guard, but he still gets the job done. Leuzinger is a floor general who can score and pass the rock. In the 2019-20 season, the point guard tallied 89 total assists. He currently may not be viewed as a top player in the 2022 class, but Leuzinger’s ability to pass the ball will eventually make him an attractive prospect for college programs.
