– Rowlett High School 6’6
Torian is an explosive athlete, standing at 6’6 with an impressive frame he finishes through contact with ease. If you live in the area, no doubt you have seen his highlights come up on the news. He has ferocious finishes in traffic and pays no mind if he has to go up or through you to do so. He finishes with ease in the lane and will have no problem with transitioning to the physicality of the next level. He is ferocious on the defensive end of the court and loves going hard for loose balls and always looks to turn them into highlight-reel finishes on the other end. His leaping ability and agility in the air is unmatched at this level and looks to have the raw athletic ability to play at the next level with ease.
Kanvion James Woodson- Naaman Forest High School
Kanvion has a great shooting form and true confidence about his game. He is able to finish through contact and loves being spotted up in the corner ready to hit open looks. When given opportunities in the corner, he is very aware of using the defender’s momentum against them, blowing by them when they close out hard to disrupt a jumper. He also has a heads-up ability to stop on a dime and hit mid-range opportunities with a good clip. He plays engaged defense and incredibly disruptive when trapping, something Naaman Forest loved to do in the full court. He causes many disruptions because of this.
Louis Landers- North Garland High School 6’7
Louis is a huge quick forward with the tenacity to run the court all game. He finishes with ease on the break and his enormous body allow for rim wrecking dunks. He is active on the boards but needs work on his positioning to truly unlock his ability to swallow rebounds with his frame. He still has the awareness and ability to reach up and over defenders to get rebounds and finish over them with ease, whether it is layups, dunks, or baby hooks in the paint. His arms allow him to contest shots easily and make his opponents change their shot angles all the time. He has a knack for throwing shots into the stands and is the real anchor for his defense.
Arinze Nwige- Naaman Forest High School 6’3
Arinze is a small ball forward, with a real high motor and a chance to be able to disrupt smaller opponents and lockdown bigger forwards. He possessed real strength and an ability to move defenders in the post. His long arms allow him to finish over most defenders in the lane with ease. He also rejects shots and protects the paint very well despite his smaller stature. His ability to quickly move his feet laterally kept him engaged and able to play good defense against any opponents.
