Udi Anyiam- Rowlett High School 6’3
Udi is an incredible athlete with great leaping ability. He jumps with ease and seemingly has his head at the bottom of the backboard and at the rim every time he goes up for a dunk or block attempt. His long arms and ability to float in the air make contact not seem like anything when he goes up in the paint. He moves well without the ball in the paint and sets himself up well for open dunks generated from his guards diving towards the rim and hitting him with easy shovel passes.
DQ Burton- Lakeview Centennial High School 6’2
DQ is great at driving to the basket and with his long arms he is able to keep the ball away from defenders while still maintain control. His frame allows him to get to easy shots in the lane and he finishes well even when absorbing contact. He keeps the ball high and is strong in his core when he is going up for put backs and layups and does not allow smaller guards to bother him. He is great at running off screens, getting shoulder to shoulder with his screener, and slipping by to the hole. Even after beating defenders off the screen or off a live dribble, help defenders do not stand a chance when he gets his head down and leaps up towards the rim. He is smart at utilizing the mid-range and is able to get comfortable looks for himself off the dribble and after selling a three-point jumper. His basketball intelligence is very evident, he is great at positioning himself to cut off driving and passing lanes, draw charges, and create offense and easy looks for his teammates.
Ali Cannon- South Garland High School 6’1
Ali is a creative finisher in the lane, and has a unique ability to hang in the air and avoid contact. He showed experience fading in the midrange and got a good amount of buckets from different spots. He is great at going up and under to avoid contact while he was driving toward the hole. He can get wherever he wants on the court, and ith simple changes of speed and crossovers allow him to get to the hole and midrange, as well as set up open looks for his teammates.
Destyin Crabtree- Naaman Forest High School 6’0
Destyin is an intelligent wing with a persistent ability to get to the ball. He loves playing engaged on-ball defense and plays the passing lanes with real tenacity. Once he gets these steals and loose balls, he has a heads-up awareness to get the basketball to his guard or making an impressive full-court pass. He has long arms and a real explosive nature about his game, which allows him to sky for rebounds and contest shots with ease.
Kevin Crow- Sachse High School 6’0
Kevin is a strong wing who is a great shooter off the catch with his feet set. He showed true mastery at shooting in the corner and created space for his teammates by the fear he struck in defenders. He moves around the arc well without the ball, and always is ready to catch and shoot when given the green light. As a defender, he is great at picking the passing lanes and pushing the ball up the court to finish on the other end.
