<p>There is usually a big jump in a young man's game from his frosh to his sophomore year. They have a year to acclimate themselves to a new school and learn that basketball is more than running and jumping. The fundamental part comes, in this time span. Here are 8 players ready to come of age. </p>
<p><strong>Malachi Macmillian. 6”1. SO (2023) </strong><strong>MOLLOY HS</strong></p>
<p>This young lefty can get to the rim. Really quick first step. He has a strong body that enables him to finish. Can also stroke it. </p>
<p><strong>Josh Decaddy. 6”5. SO (2023) MOLLOY HS</strong></p>
<p>An athletic big man who is very active. Is a rim protector and tremendous rebounder. Can score around the rim. Works constantly to improve. Needs a little more confidence. </p>
<p><strong>Jack Guevarra. 5”11. SO (2023) MOLLOY HS</strong></p>
<p>A young guard who can drill the three and just plain shoot the ball. A strong player. Tough as they come. A very savvy player with court awareness.</p>
<p><strong>Jaiden Williams 6”4. SO(2023) CARDINAL HAYES HS</strong></p>
<p>Big bulky frame. Can really score around the basket. Can flush it in traffic. Can score with both hands. Working on his perimeter shooting. Will be a major force to watch as he matures on the court.</p>
<p><strong>Michael Walker. 6”7. SO (2023) XAVERIAN HS</strong></p>
<p>As this big man gains more experience he should develop into a major talent. Very good work ethic to go along with his body. Can score around rim.</p>
<p><strong>Don Colon Lewis. 6”5. SO (2023) XAVERIAN HS</strong></p>
<p>Excellent passer and ball handler. Has a great feel for the game. Good touch inside and out. Has deep range with his shot. Working on getting into game shape for the varsity level.</p>
<p><strong>Emmanuel ikioda. 6”3. SO (2023) MOLLOY HS</strong></p>
<p>A strong athlete. Really strong finisher at the rim. Has been working on his overall shooting.</p>
<p><strong>Melhi Blamoville. 5”9. SO (2023) MOLLOY HS</strong></p>
<p>Real smart point guard. A floor general on the court. Can shoot it well. Really good on the ball defender.</p>
