Springfield has always been a hotbed for talent.  It has quite the history of hoops over the years.  This season could be one of the better groups of prospects the region has had in a while with multiple schools from the city loaded with college prospects!  We dive into the Battle for Springfield here looking at what each have for the 2020-2021 season!

 

Springfield

Springfield High School could have one of its strongest teams in recent memory.  They are headlined by a trio of 2021 prospects that will all play at the college level.  At the point guard spot Shane Miller is a smooth lead guard that can score and dish.  Bennie Slater has emerged after a breakout junior campaign as their top prospect.  The 6’5” small forward has long arms and is a playmaker with the ball in his hands.  Plus passer and shoots it well from mid-range.  Tyvin Garrison is a wiry power forward with athleticism.  Bouncy around the hoop and really improved his face up jumper over the last year.
