Agjanti Miller Agjanti Miller 6'2" | CG Vanden | 2021 State CA-N 6’3 Guard/Wing Vanden HS (Fairfield, CA)
Miller probably the most recognizable prospect on this list, because of the success of his team. Miller was part of a talented Vanden team that won the Monticello Empire League. The 6’3 guard plays a good all around game. A confident shooter with a consistent mid range game, and the ability to knock down the 3. A decent ball handler and a good passer who sees the floor well. He’ll be one to watch next season.
Jacob Condez 5’8 Pt Guard Will C Wood (Vacaville, CA)
Often when we talk about guards under 6’0 we talk about heart and hustle. Condez fits this narrative. He’s a pass first point guard with good ball handling skills, and quickness. He has good instincts, and good post entry passes, he shows good patience directing the team in half court sets, he’s fast and pushes it quickly in transition. He can penetrate and dish, or pull up on the dime and knock down his mid range jumper. He was first team All League in Monticello Empire League.
Kawika Makua 6’1 Guard, Rio Vista HS (Rio Vista, CA)
Makua averaged 19.9 ppg, 5.1 asts, and a season high of 41 pts. The fast and thinly built guard plays fearless willing to sacrifice his body on every play. He’s in constant attack mode in transition or half court. His handles and burst on the initial attack makes it hard for defenders to stay in front of him. He has a nice set three point shot with deep range, he shot 35 percent.
Evan Adams 6’1 Guard, Vacaville HS (Vacaville, CA)
Adams an athletic two sport prospect (football) had a quality season and was a key contributor to his team coming off the bench. He often provided a lift when he entered the game. He has good strong takes on the drive from the wings and baseline, he can hit the short corner jumper with some consistency, and has a nice shooting stroke from 3 in the corner. He’s a good, and active helper on defense. He’ll raise his game next season.
D Riley Jr 6’1 Point Guard, Rodriguez HS (Fairfield, CA)
Riley Jr. A long armed guard who has good speed and athleticism. He’s a quality point guard with handles, and patience running an offense. His passing and good court vision often found teammates cutting to the basket. The lefty has the speed and handles to blow by defenders to get his own shot, yet he can use the stop-n-go, or the floater to keep defenders off balance. He has all the traits to being a higher level defender.
