Riley Ashburn Riley Ashburn 6'4" | SF Renville County West | 2021 State MN of Renville County West. Ashburn is a 6-foot-3 wing that averaged 22 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four steals a contest. What’s more impressive is that Riley’s best trait is his ability to impact a game defensively. Denying a solid low post player, jumping passing lanes to deflect/steal, and often denying good passes in good spots to the opposition’s best player. Can handle and is a strong passer.
Will Carlson of Wabasso. Carlson earned the respect of the teams in his league for his aggressive approach attacking the rim and working defensively. Worked mostly off the ball scoring his 19-20 points a game making 75 percent of his foul shots and ranking with the best in the league in steals.
Maverick Conn Maverick Conn 6'4" | SF LQPV | 2021 State MN of LQPV. Here is a guy that his coaching staff just loves. Need a bucket in a pinch? The 6-foto-3/6-foot-4 wing is excellent with his back to the basket. Want an excellent rebounder pushing the other way? Conn grabbed double figure boards and then flew the other direction showing off maybe the best part of his game, his passing ability. Quality shooter that also scored 20 a game. Likely you call him a wing but he can handle some and play with his back to the bucket.
Brady Kienitz Brady Kienitz 5'10" | PG MACCRAY | 2021 State MN of MACCRAY. Brady pushed MACCRAY to 20-7 putting up 20 points a game while dishing out four assists and chasing down six boards each contest. A 5-foot-10 guard that had to take 16-17 shots a game for his team, Brady still shot an impressive 45 percent from the field with a lefty touch of 37 percent at the arc and 80 percent from the foul line. Did all that with a 2.5 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. His teams won games regularly by his lead because Brady has more fight than anybody on the floor and often his teammates followed his example.
Ethan Mischke Ethan Mischke 6'0" | PG Westbrook-Walnut Grove | 2021 State MN of Westbrook-Walnut Grove. WWG is on the verge of a big run as they have all but one guy returning next year from a 20 win teams. Ethan average 20 per as a six foot guard and so much of what he did was using his quickness and ball handling to playmake. Averaged four assists a game plus a ridiculous 7.5 boards a contest as a six foot point guard. WWG will enter the season as a section champion and maybe even state title contender and Ethan is a big reason why.
