Ethan Jew 6’4 Saint Ignatius HS (San Francisco CA)
Jew is a strong physical prospect, who has a 4.4 GPA in the classroom. A high IQ prospect, who understands his strengths, and is a good team player. At 6’4 he’s tasked with guarding the other teams best post player. He gets good leverage, is active, and hands are always extended making the bigs work for buckets. He has good footwork and uses several different moves to get his shot off in the post area.
Julian Neal 6’3 Mission HS (San Francisco CA)
Neal is a two sport athlete (Football) like many of the good players in the City. He’s a football player, playing basketball because he’s a good athlete. He’s an energetic player with lots of spring in his legs. He’s tough enough to guard the big guys on the block and quick enough to guard anybody on the perimeter. He excels in the open court and will dunk on you the first chance he gets off one or two feet. A good shot blocker at 6’3. 11.4 ppg, 4.9 rebs.
Kyle Crawford 6’2 Combo Guard, Sacred Heart Cathedral HS (San Francisco, CA)
A tough minded combo guard who competes in the WCAL. He’s a thick body with decent handles who can get to the rim through contact, has good body control to finish in a variety of ways. The lefty gets good lift on his mid-range jumper, and is somewhat consistent with it. He’s difficult to contain in the open court. 11 ppg, 4.9 rebs. He has the tools to raise his game.
Bryce Smith Bryce Smith 5'9" | PG Urban SF | 2021 State CA-N 5’10 Point Guard, Urban HS (San Francisco CA)
A competitive point guard with an up side. He has some qualities that could see his game rise. A good ball handler who has good passing and court vision, he has good balance, and control taking his man off the dribble going left or right. He has a quality mid range jumper, and he looks to push in the open court. He shows patience running the offense He’ll grow and get stronger.
Tre McPherson 5’9 Point Guard, Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco CA)
McPherson fits the role of a another tough minded point guard from the City (SF) Tight handles, confident he can get to the paint from different angles. A strong body that can handle the contact. He’s constantly pushing the ball in transition making it tough on defenders. A quality passer, with a good pull up jumper off the dribble He averaged 11 ppg,. McPherson, Crawford, and Spears (2022) will give defenders fits. If we ever get in the gym they’ll be playing for San Francisco Rebels AAU Program.
Jaydan Aquino 5’11 Combo Guard, Urban HS (San Francisco, CA)
The best 3 pt shooter in this group, with a quick release, he has to be accounted for from behind the line. He plays within the flow of the game, doesn’t force, or make too many bad decisions, he has good stop and go moves, gets you off balance with his deceptive speed and ball handling skills. Urban is a small private school in the City (SF) they play in Division 5. Aquino and Smith are a solid back court duo for Urban.
