Here is what the rankings could look like in the bottom half of the top 10.
6. Cade Phillips Cade Phillips 6'8" | PF Jacksonville | 2023 AL , 6’8 PF, Westbrook: A big physical player who is light on his feet for his size. A 2-sport athlete that also excels on the gridiron. He has the ability to carve out space on the inside and has very good touch outside the painted area. He is also a high-level rebounder especially on the offensive end of the floor.
7. John Broom John Broom 6'5" | SG Jacksonville | 2023 State AL , 6’4 SG, Jacksonville: A Scorer! This kid gets buckets in every type of way on the floor. He has long arms and a motor that doesn’t stop. He has never seen a shot he doesn’t like and has the “I’ll make the next 3” mentality. He is a hard worker on the defensive end which makes him a very valuable player.
8. Keldric Faulk Keldric Faulk 6'6" | PF Highland Home | 2023 AL , 6’6 PF, Highland Home: Another 2-sport star that is a load on the hardwood. He has good feet and skill around the basket and range out to the 3-point line. A potential 5-star on the gridiron could have him concentrating more on that, but don’t sleep on his skill on the court.
9. JaMari Arnold JaMari Arnold 5'10" | PG Huntsville | 2023 State AL , 5’10 PG, Huntsville High: A lightning-quick pg with a good handle and ability to be a volume scorer all while running a team. He can shoot it very well off the catch and it is hard to stay in front of him off the dribble. Look for him to continue to improve through the summer into the school season on a new squad.
10. Julius Clark Julius Clark 6'5" | PF Mountain Brook | 2023 State AL , 6’5 SF/PF, Mountain Brook: A hybrid player who can play either inside or out and guard multiple positions. His energy sets him apart from most every time he laces them up. He runs the floor very well and is able to catch and finish in transition. He has very good length with a developing offensive game. With added work look from him to be a tough match up night in night out.
