There were 10 teams of 10 players on each team and each team played 3 games after a series of drills and warm-ups.
Here are some of the players who saw their stock go up:
Mason Mich’l Mason Mich’l 6'7" | PF Desert Oasis | 2021 State NV (Desert Oasis-NV) (Pictured)
-Ranked #42 in Nevada’s class right now and he will definitely move up. He has a nice mid-range game with a pretty lefty touch on his FT’s. He is shockingly athletic with dunks way above the rim. He also was fighting hard inside to rebound the ball on both sides of the court. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go into the top-20 Prep Hoops Nevada rankings for his class.
Damian Ruiz SG 6’2 2022 (Murrieta Valley-CA)
-Ranked #74 in So-Cal, but he is another that may move up. He is a consistent catch 3pt shooter who can drive it a little. He has deep range on his J and he can use the euro step in the lane.
Ruiz shooting will get him some college looks.Malachi Murrell SF 6’2 2022 (La Quinta-CA)
-Ranked #112 in So-Cal but showed a big time motor with impressive bounce. He is a little undersized for a forward but is strong, tough and is a good rebounder. He is a quick jumper and crafty around the rim plus he can seal his man to score.
Murrell will look to break out his junior year in CA.Shamar Moore Shamar Moore 6'4" | SG Peoria | 2022 State AZ (Peoria)
-Ranked #91 but is clearly making strides. A deep group of guards didn’t give him the heavy minutes but next season he should breakout. He has a stronger upper body and is a sneaky good passer. He prefers to drive the lane but he can shoot the 3 with some consistency.
Jayson Petty Jayson Petty 6'4" | SG Phhoenix Prep | 2023 State AZ (Centennial)
-A long and athletic forward who can guard multiple positions. He is a very good rebounder and plays very hard. He can hit the 3pt shot and his skill is improving to go along with his motor. He will enter the rankings at the end of the summer.
Kemp Van Es Kemp Van Es 6'1" | SG Phh Prep | 2022 State AZ (Phhoenix Prep)
-Van Es showed the growth of his game this weekend. He has deep range on his shot and can also use the floater. He can get into the lane with his stronger frame and decent handle. He has grown a little and is reportedly working on his game 24/7. He will enter the rankings at the end of the summer.
Brandon Nacario Brandon Nacario 6'0" | CG Notre Dame Prep | 2022 State AZ (NDP)
-A pure PG has made strides since freshman year. He is a very good passer and has a stronger frame to get downhill. He can hit the 3pt shot and plays a cerebral game. He will be a steady player for new head coach Luke Dallariva. He will enter the rankings at the end of the summer.
CJ Lobrigo CJ Lobrigo 6'1" | CG Paradise Honors | 2021 State AZ (Paradise Honors)
-The rising senior seems to get better every year. He is slowly getting stronger, more athletic and taller. He was a stud JV player and has worked on his game as well. He is a consistent 3pt shooter off the catch and is a good passer plus he can shoot it from mid-range. He will enter the rankings at the end of the summer.
