The event included multiple showcase games from some of the top SoCal talent from each class (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) and even a 2025 game. Here’s some of the top talent that I saw from the second 2021 game.
1. DJ Allen DJ Allen 6'6" | SF St. Anthony | 2021 State CA-S – St Anthony
Allen is a strong wing player and will be a major piece for St Anthony this upcoming year. He has good strength and uses it to his advantage to finish around the rim. He gathers himself well in the paint and can finish around most defenders. He has good quickness and can get out well in transition. He can play in the paint too and he can hit face-up jumpers.
2. Brenton Knapper Brenton Knapper 6'0" | PG Colony | 2021 State #136 Nation CA-S – Colony
The Santa Clara commit is an all-around solid guard. He’s a great outside shooter who can create his own shot on the perimeter. Crafty ball-handler and a very athletic player. He gets out in transition and is looking to finish strong at the rim. A real point guard who quarterbacks the team’s offense and looks for his teammates. Just and overall smart and tough player.
3. Josh O’Garro Josh O’Garro 6'5" | SF Santa Clarita Christian | 2021 State CA-S – Santa Clarita Christian
O’Garro is an athletic wing who has received both offers and interest from quite a few Division 1 schools. He runs the floor well in transition. Has a solid perimeter jump shot and if he’s open, he’ll take and make the shot. He can put the ball on the floor and makes plays off the dribble. Nice little floater when he gets into the lane. He has a developing playmaking game as well. Should have a big senior year.
4. KJ Bradley KJ Bradley 5'11" | PG Crenshaw | 2021 State CA-S – Crenshaw
Bradley is also one of the more underrated players in the SoCal area. He’s a leader and everything you want in a point guard. He is a very good ball-handler who protects the ball and doesn’t get rattled by pressure defense. He can split the seams an.d find the cracks in the defense. Looks to make the right play whether that’s looking to score or looking to pass. Solid one-on-one defensive player.
5. Christian “Bam” Johnson – Lynwood
I’ve watched Johnson play several times now and he gets better each time. He’s really come into his own as combo guard. He can score if you need him to. He gets into the lane and he attacks the rim relentlessly. He can create his own shot and he can shoot well from the three-point line. He can be a facilitator if you need him to. He draws the defensive pressure and opens up the floor for his teammates; he gets them easy looks.
