Here were the rising senior standouts:
DaRon Holmes II (Montverde Academy-FL)
-The athletic forward did anything he wanted to, and did it in style. He made shots from mid to the 3 plus dominated the paint. Dunks, put-backs, fade-aways, blocking shots in bunches and running the court and being active. Named the Co-MVP of the league.
Tyrone Washington Tyrone Washington 6'4" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2021 State #33 Nation AZ (AZ Compass Prep)
-The top guard in AZ keeps backing up his status. He had multiple 30+ games and made it look easy. His range on his jumper is next level and he gets to the basket with jabs, hesis and big bursts. He is dunking the ball more than ever and his pull-up off the dribble is a thing of beauty. His passing is always top notch and I don’t think he gets enough credit for how good his defense is. He is super competitive collecting steals, blocking shots and snatching rebounds. Named the Co-MVP of the league.
Alden Applewhite Alden Applewhite 6'7" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2021 State #126 Nation AZ (AZ Compass Prep)
-One of the more unique players I have seen in a while by way of Memphis, TN. At almost 6’8, he is a true point forward. He had 5+ assists in the games he played, including the Top-20 game. He has incredible court vision and the lefty has great length and takes long strides to get into the lane easily with his tight handle. He plays above the rim and he also has skill. He can step back from his defender and create his own shot from mid-range plus he can hit the 3pt shot with range.
Tyler Simon Tyler Simon 6'4" | CG Dream City Christian | 2021 State AZ (DCC)
-The long scoring guard has mad range on his 3pt shot. He also is a competitive rebounder and is another player with next level court vision. He is very good off the pick and roll and can step back as deep as he wants to launch his 3. He has a big wingspan to collect steals/deflections during the course of a game.
TJ Wainwight CG 6’3 Westchester (CA) (Pictured)
-The flamethrower guard gets hot in a blink of an eye. The lefty has deep range and squares up quickly to get it off. He has a floater game and is strong near the rim. What actually impressed me with him is he is a better passer than I realized. His IQ off the pick and roll and creating angles to pass to his teammates or driving to the rim and kicking it to a shooter are impressive.
Garrett Levesque SF 6’5 (undecided)
-Another impressive outing for the Texas native. He is very athletic vertically and can make 3’s. He has a little wiggle to his handle to get into the lane and is a good rebounder in his area. He had a highlight reel performance with 40 points last night.
2021 Garrett Levesque from Texas came to AZ & dropped a 40 ball @ Pangos Best of Arizona League !! ???? | Full highlights LINK: https://t.co/f6ZMAq033J@GarrettLevesqu4 pic.twitter.com/QHoW0o4QK4

Kerie Edmead PG 5’11 (St. Pius/St. Mathias (CA)
-A quick scoring lead guard who can shoot it from deep plus has a nice burst to the cup. He has a nice floater game and he hesitates to freeze the defense then drives the lane to score. He has a tight handle and he is a tough kid not afraid to challenge the post players inside.
