Until then, let’s take a look at some of the best players in the 2021 class.
Here are the players ranked 31-40 in the 2021 class:
31.Tristin Davis
Davis is a big riser over the last year after an awesome junior season in which he averaged better than 15 points, six rebounds and four assists for Turtle Mountain. He’s an okay perimeter shooter, but does his best work when he’s getting to the paint and either making plays or finishing.
32.Grant Romfo
Romfo is a multi-sport stud for Langdon/Edmore/Munich and was the go-to guy for a top-10 Class B team. He’s got the size, strength and athleticism to dominate a game on both ends of the floor, and he can get hot from deep and roll offensively.
33.Isaiah Bundy-Smith
Bundy-Smith is an intriguing frontcourt talent because of his combination of size, athleticism and developing skill. He’s been a solid role player on a loaded Rugby team each of the last two yeast and, in small doses, shown there’s a ton of talent still to be tapped into. He’s got the mobility, finishing ability, passing skills and motor to be a double-double machine in his senior season.
34.Keagen Woodbury
Woodbury is one of the top returning guards in the WDA and averaged better than 11 points per game in his junior year. He’s a solid playmaker and while he needs show he can shoot and take care of the ball more consistently, when he’s at his best, he’s a dynamic two-way player who can change the game.
35.Noah Fredrickson
Fredrickson’s been the catalyst for a very good Powers Lake team each of the last two years, averaging double figures in scoring while taking on more responsibility as a playmaker and facilitator. He’s got good length and strength to guard multiple positions, and can get wherever he wants on the floor.
36.Ian Ely
Ely is a strong, physical guard who shoots it better than his junior-year percentages would represent. He’s a smart player who can control the tempo of the game and should be one of the best returning guards in the WDA.
37.Braden DeKeyser
DeKeyser’s been a productive piece for Fargo Shanley each of the last two years and has the athleticism and skill to put up bigger numbers with more opportunity. He’s a good defender who impacts the game in a variety of ways with his ability to handle, make plays and create his own shot.
38.Barika Kpeenu
Kpeenu is one of the best football prospects in the state and already committed to North Dakota State but could also be one of the best point guards in the EDC next winter. He’s an explosive point guard who puts a lot of pressure on opposing ballhandlers with his quickness and toughness and can get to the paint whenever he wants.
39.Steele Hansen
Oakes has a chance to be one of the best teams in Class B next year and Hansen is part of what should be one of the best backcourts in the state. The 5-foot-11 combo guard stuffed the stat sheet as a junior, averaging 19 points and 11 rebounds while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field. He’s a physical presence on the perimeter that few opposing guards can contend with.
40.Peyton Zaun
Zaun is a solid shooting guard prospect who has to do a lot for a Valley City team that doesn’t have a lot of natural scorers or playmakers. The 6-foot-2 lefty can stroke it from deep, get to the paint and defend up or down a lineup.
