6’8 Cameron Brimhall Cameron Brimhall 6'8" | PF Lone Peak | 2021 State UT (Lone Peak High School)
While being 6’8 you know he is going to be long because he is tall, but Cameron seems to be in the right place and he times his jumps well to haul in those rebounds. His ability to set those screen and make sure he seals his man to keep that switch on him. He also reads the defense well knowing when to slip the screen or pop and hit the 3-ball. Cameron has a great looking three-point shot with great fluid mechanics as well. These small things add to his potential at the Division 1 level as a multi-position player. Look for more of Brimhall this upcoming season as he increases his overall production.
6’2 Noa Gonsalves Noa Gonsalves 6'2" | PG Lehi | 2021 State UT (Lehi High School)
When watching Noa play the impressive part about his game is that he is patient and waits for the game to come to him. He doesn’t get frustrated if he is not touching the ball. He has a quick first step that can allow him to get beyond defenders. He can shoot off the dribble or off of a set shot. In the open floor he can gash the defense and get to the rim because he is so quick so teams drop back, that is when he can hurt you with that pull-up three. His crafty creative style of play is something that needs to be seen in person.
6’7 Jake Wahlin Jake Wahlin 6'8" | SF Timpview | 2021 State #150 Nation UT (Timpview High School)
Jake has the ability to hurt teams with his length because of his guard skills. Jake is that ultimate pick, pop and read type of player. Slashing to the basket is something that Jake does well because of his various moves to get to the cup. While he is long because of his stature he does have a quick step. He is unselfish as he is always looking for open players and waiting for his turn to make an impact on the game. Jake continues to develop an outside game that really makes him versitle. With the ability to snatch rebounds out of the air and push the ball up the floor Jake is another prospect that can just do it all.
6’3 Noah Moeaki Noah Moeaki 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2022 State UT (American Fork High School)
As a freshman Noah was a solid contributor or a solid State Champion team that featured a lot of college players on the roster. This past year Noah increased his point production by 8 points a game. With another year under his belt Noah is likely to increase his production once again for his junior season. With multiple Division 1 offers to play football Noah could start to rack up some offers on the hardwood in due time with his continued development. He is one of the stronger guards in the state and he has great size. His shooting keeps getting better and he already has the instincts to defend and rebound. He will be fun to watch these next few years as the pieces around him continue to develop.
