It was another somewhat quiet week in the recruiting world in the Maryland/DC area. However we did see a few 2020 prospects announce where they’ll be attending college next season along with a couple of rising sophomores receive offers from high major programs.


2020 Winston Churchill guard Jomo GoingsJomoGoings6'4" | CGChurchill | 2020StateMD committed to Slippery Rock. Goings is a 6-foot-4 combo guard who can score from all three levels and in a variety of ways. His length, basketball IQ and upside should all play a big part in him having a productive college career.

2020 Boys’ Latin point guard Kendall WalkerKendallWalker5'11" | PGBoys' Latin | 2020StateMD announced his commitment to Morehouse College. Walker is a savvy floor general who can play the role of facilitator or scorer when his team needs. It may take Walker some time to get in the rotation at Morehouse, but his work ethic and leadership should shine as soon as he steps foot on campus.

2020 Poly wing Ty Bethea committed and signed with Harford Community College. At 6-foot-5, Bethea has good size and plus athleticism, which should allow him to contribute right away at Harford. He spent his high school career surrounded by
