It’s still very early in their high school careers so I expect this list to change pretty drastically over the next three years, but it’s a solid starting point in getting out the names programs should be aware of.

Amani Hansberry Amani Hansberry 6'7" | C Mount St. Joseph | 2023 State #52 Nation MD | 6’7 | St. John’s (DC)
Hansberry checks in at 16. I think it’s a great spot for the 6-foot-7 forward following a productive freshman season in the WCAC. Playing in arguably the best conference in the country, Hansberry posted steady numbers as a scorer and rebounder against some of the best bigs nationally. His old school approach of operating on the block with his back to the basket proved effective, but he’ll likely extend his repertoire going forward to fit in with the more skilled frontcourt players of the game today.
Offers: DePaul, Rhode Island, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech
Kwame Evans Kwame Evans 6'9" | SF Montverde | 2023 State #20 Nation FL | 6’8 | Poly
Evans will be a player that should climb when the next rankings are released considering his production for a nationally ranked Poly team this season. At 6-foot-8 with elite length, Evans proved to be a sniper from deep. The lefty also made plays off the bounce and showcased versatility by securing defensive rebounds and controlling the fast break himself. He’ll have an increased role this season as Poly lost three starters to the Divison I level.

Mike Williams Mike Williams 6'3" | CG Bishop Walsh | 2023 State #141 Nation MD | 6’3 | Calvert Hall
Williams showcased his dynamic playmaking ability this season for a young Calvert Hall team. The 6-foot-3 lead guard has explosive athleticism that allows him to finish above the rim in the open floor or in traffic. His in between game is still in progress, but Williams can make you pay if left open from the perimeter as well. He’s a prideful defender who makes things happen off the ball where he anticipates well. Being ranked at 76 is a good spot for him at this point, in my opinion.

Jacoi Hutchinson Jacoi Hutchinson 6'3" | CG IMG | 2023 State #101 Nation FL | 6’1 | DeMatha
Hutchinson earns a ranking of 124 and is another candidate to move up significantly as his career at DeMatha continues. The 6-foot-1 guard quickly earned the trust of head coach Mike Jones and showed ability as a playmaker offensively for himself and others. He performed at a high level defensively considering the skilled guards he matched up with in the WCAC.
Cam Gillus Cam Gillus 5'10" | PG Sidwell Friends | 2023 State MD | 5’11 | Sidwell Friends
Gillus checks in at 134 after a productive freshman season at Sidwell Friends. He’s a 5-foot-10 true point guard who can set the table for his team while providing the necessary tools defensively that you need from your point guard.
Mathani Paul-Swinson Mathani Paul-Swinson 5'11" | PG McDonogh | 2023 MD | 5’11 | McDonogh
Paul Swinson improved steadily throughout his freshman season at McDonogh. He was the consistent starter and as the Eagles suffered a bevy of injuries, Paul-Swinson’s list of responsibilities grew. He improved his decision making as a passer, showed soft touch on his drives and has potential to be a threat from three off the catch. One thing that stands out about the 5-foot-11 guard is his intention to rebound and push the pace.
