Wesley Yates Wesley Yates 6'4" | SG Beaumont United | 2023 State #36 Nation TX | 6’3″ SG | Beaumont United HS [Houston Hoops E15] 2023
Wesley was on a full shooting display this weekend. He also showed how easy he made the game look, as it looked like he was just gliding around on the court as if the game was moving slowly to him. He had a solid varsity season and brought it right into the summer. He was able to get to the rim with ease as well. He just picked up two NCAA D1 offers (Illinois & IUPUI) from after this past weekend’s games.
David Tubek | 6’7″ SF | Marion HS [Select One 16U] 2022 as seen in the picture
David was a bucket all weekend long. He was hard to stop from getting to the basket and he was knocking down some tightly contested trey balls as well. He put the ball on the deck and was taking his opponent off the dribble where he displayed his mid-range package as well. Very skilled small forward that plays above the rim. He currently holds one D1 offer on the table from Youngstown State.
A.J. Ferguson | 6’5″ SG | Cypress Park HS [Houston Raptors 17U] 2021
Anthony “AJ” Ferguson Jr has added some aggression to his game when attacking the rim. He is also playing above the rim way more than he did. He is a big-time shooter on the perimeter. He looked very confident in his game as well and played with the ball in his hands a lot. He is also a solid off-ball prospect He currently has a D3 offer but will gain some attention from Small D1/D2 schools with his new dawg mentality that ups his gameplay.
Peter Mckey | 6’2″ CG | Alief Hastings HS [Houston Raptors 17U] 2021
Peter is a tough guard. He is a hard-nosed on-ball defender that is hard to get by. He also plays well in the half-court set and plays with multiple speeds with the ball in his hands. He gets to the rim really easy and uses his opponent’s momentum to off-set them to create openings for his floater or easy layins at the rim. He also has a mid-range game with great elevation on his jumper.
Charles Chukwu Charles Chukwu 6'9" | C Katy Paetow | 2022 State TX | 6’9″ C | Katy Paetow HS [Rytes Warriors 16U] 2022
Charles is a physical specimen and uses his strength to his advantage. This nationally recognized prospect is a force anywhere 8 feet and in around the rim. He is also a defensive enforcer and will swat away 75% of shots in his vicinity. He even rebounds the ball with a ton of aggression. He is solid in the pick-n-roll as well and creates space for his teammates with very tough screens.
