Fern Creek’s Jaden Rogers Jaden Rogers 6'1" | PG Fern Creek | 2021 State KY and Darrius Washington – Jaden and Darrius have been teammates and best friends for as long as I’ve known them but their complimentary games are not given as much attention as it should. Two of the top 10 players in the Senior class, the Fern Creek duo is possibly the most talented pairing on this list. Both have D1 offers and could garner more this summer if we get AAU in the next few months.
Martin County’s Brady Dingess Brady Dingess 5'11" | PG Martin County | 2022 State KY and Trey James – Both James and Dingess will finish their high school careers as 5 year varsity starters and likely over 2,000 career points each. Trey has been a top player in the 21 class for several years now and Brady is on his way to being a mountain legend.
Male’s Kaleb Glenn Kaleb Glenn 6'7" | SF La Lumiere | 2023 #64 Nation IN and Cam Pope Cam Pope 6'2" | CG Male | 2021 State KY – The two returning starters for the 7th region champs, Pope and Glenn are the Louisville version of lob city. Kaleb led the state in field goal percentage as a freshman thanks to living above the rim. Pope is a knockdown shooter who is able to feed Glenn in the post and relocate for a kickout and open shot.
Eastern’s James Jewell James Jewell 6'6" | PF Marion County | 2022 State KY and Christian Spalding Christian Spalding 6'4" | PG Evangel Christian | 2022 State KY – Spalding and Jewell are 2 of the top 3 players in our 2022 rankings and continue to improve as they grow and develop. Spalding is a floor general who can also create for others. Jewell is a rim running post player who can finish around the rim. Combined, they’re hoping to have a real chance at winning the 7th region this season.
Owensboro Catholics’s JiAirius Webb JiAirius Webb 6'7" | PF Owensboro | 2023 State KY and Brian Griffith Brian Griffith 5'9" | PG Owensboro Catholic | 2023 State KY – Webb and Griffith are a lot like Spalding and Jewell. Brian Griffith Brian Griffith 5'9" | PG Owensboro Catholic | 2023 State KY is a shifty scorer and playmaker while Webb is a athletic post player who is working to stretch his game past the three point line. Webb has big time potential thanks to his length and athleticism and Brian has a chance to be the top scorer in the 3rd region this year.
Ballard’s Maker Bar Maker Bar 6'9" | C Ballard | 2022 State KY and Gabe Sisk Gabe Sisk 6'5" | SG Ballard | 2023 #232 Nation CA-N – Sisk is one of the top 2023s in the state while Bar is our top ranked 2022. Maker has potential because he’s long and athletic and gets better every time I see him. Sisk is a shifty shooting guard who had a big freshman season for the Bruins and has a chance to be really good if he keeps developing.
