Scotland County Guard Garett Mcrae will be staying home and playing his college ball for the St. Andrews Knights. He’s a strong guard that can score the ball at a high level and can be a player that makes an early impact for his team.
One of the better rebounders in the area will be headed to Saint Andrews as Grace Christian Forward Allan Taylor announced his commitment to the Knights. He brings legit size at 6’8 & plenty of upside which should lead to nice production over the next few years.
Eastern Guilford Junior Guard Kadyn Dawkins Kadyn Dawkins 5'9" | CG Eastern Guilford | 2021 State NC picked up his first offer from Concord University last week. Dawkins is one of those players that we felt was very deserving due to the type of performances he put together all last season. Not only can he put up 30+ Points but he also has the ability to set up teammates for easy buckets.
South Johnston HS Wing CJ Ray will be going the JUCO route after an outstanding high school career. Ray will be attending Frank Phillips College in Texas and should be a player that 4 year programs keep a close eye on. Ray can play multiple positions due to his size, scoring ability and rebounding which are all attributes coaches love.
Caldwell Tech picked up a nice commitment from South Granville HS Guard Micah Jones Micah Jones 6'3" | CG South Granville | 2020 State NC as he made the decision to play out his first two years with the Cobras. Jones is a player that we feel is only scratching the surface of how good he can be and he’s shown the ability to fit into whatever role you may ask of him. Athleticism is one of the main reasons why he will catch your attention early on, he makes plays above the rim on both ends and excels when his team gets out into transition.
