One Player To Watch: Joseph Bomba Joseph Bomba 6'4" | SF Bloomington South | 2021 State IN
Joey is a long, lean wing who is able to knock down his jumpers consistently. He is tall with a strong build giving him a good presence on the court. He has a lot of room to grow in terms of using his frame to create inside. He has the ability to play anywhere from the 2 to the 4 with his athleticism, and his shooting is a skill that will always be there for him. If he can create a little bit more off the dribble, he could really take his game to the next level.
One Player We Need To See More: Koleton Kaiser
Koleton has good size, and he has shown that he can knock down shots from the outside at a pretty good rate. However, he has shown that he can be incredibly inconsistent at times. He has had multiple twenty-point games in which it seems as if he cannot miss, but he also has those games in which he seems to not be able to hit. If he can fine-tune his skill set and maintain a little bit more consistency, he has the potential to be a difference-maker both for the Shock this summer and for Corydon Central in his senior campaign.
One Player That Should Surprise: Stephen Atkinson Stephen Atkinson 6'6" | PF Owen Valley | 2021 State IN
Stephen is a big forward who can play both inside and out. He doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of speed, handling ability, or size, but he has enough to make himself a tough matchup for both guards and bigs. He has improved his shooting ability quite a bit and can knock down the mid-range consistently. When he is in the post, he has a good amount of strength, but he needs to polish up his finishing ability to take advantage. The only time that I have seen him play, he had an outstanding 31 point performance, so when he puts everything together, he can absolutely dominate a game.
