Jahvonte O’Connor
O’Connor was at home defending the other team’s best perimeter. He gave up size to his opponent but thanks to his quicks he didn’t give his man the space to dribble. That speed also translates to the offensive end where breaking down opponents makes rooms his pull up jumper and playmaking.
Landon Brown
This rising freshman looks like a natural on the floor. At 6-1 with long arms, he’s built for the game and might be one of the most under control guards when his freshman year starts. The combination of size, shooting, and handle are indicators of a bright future.
Isaya Pankey
Pankey shifts defenses with the dribble moves he strings together. Another talented point guard in the 2024 that will wreak havoc the minute he’s in a varsity rotation. The 6-2 guard is flashing high 3 level scoring potential.
Mason Jones Mason Jones 6'4" | SG Keller Central | 2022 State TX
In pockets, Jones looked ready for the next level. The 6-4 guard has a solid frame and the athletic burst to score through contact on the break. He nails in rhythm threes on the wing. The rising junior’s last duel in high school will be watched closely, especially as offers roll in.
Rytis Petraitis Rytis Petraitis 6'6" | SG Oak Ridge | 2021 State TX
As long as Petraitis continues to make high level defensive plays he’ll earn looks. The 6-6 wing made an athletic block in transition. He’ll be a cog in any defense at the next level.
Anden Holmes Anden Holmes 6'8" | PF V.R. Eaton | 2023 State TX
At 6-7 Holmes is adding the skills to take full advantage of his physical gifts. On day 1 he proved he’s willing to make contact and finish through it. If he wasn’t converting around the rim he was going to the free throw line.
Addarin Scott Addarin Scott 6'8" | PF Dallas Carter | 2021 State TX
Scott’s making a case for us to move him up the ranking. The 6-9 big runs the floor showing a second gear most who have guarded him in the last 2 events couldn’t match. He’s altering defenses with size, length, and intensity. All the while he hasn’t needed to showcase that offensive skill set that made him a double-double threat in high school.
