LONG BEACH, CA—I felt the next time I’d be in a gym would be a surreal-like feeling—and that is exactly the case. Dinos Trigonis, who had been running events in Arizona, Utah, and Iowa—unveiled his first event in So-Cal—and it was quite good to say the least. From the playmaking abilities of DeMarco Johnson and Moses Wright to the overall skills of Amarion Orange, the talent was impressive in the Class of 2025/26 tilt.
Dylan Gomez (Huntington Beach)
2025, SG, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds
Joel’s Take: Gomez is a high IQ scoring guard who plays with a good motor. He’ll impact the game in the areas of rebounding, leading the break, and he has a nice looking jump shot with good lift. His head is up on the break and he can nail the pull-up jump shot in transition.
Amarion Orange (Perris)
2025, CG, 5-foot-10, 155 pounds
Joel’s Take: Orange was right there with Moses Wright as the most dominate players in the game. He has the strength to get to the rim off the dribble and finish through contact. He can create off the dribble and his pull-up game is evolving. He looks to score, but he can deliver the assist as well.
Jaison Joyce (Redondo Beach/Adams MS)
2025, WF, 6-foot-3, 165 pounds
Joel’s Take: The biggest prospect in the game was Joyce and although he did most of his work on the block, he showed that his future is probably out on the perimeter. His foot work was solid and he showed a nice touch as well. The long and rangy athlete displayed ball skills in the open court and it will be intriguing to watch his development going forward.
Kameron Dodson (Riverside)
2025, PG, 5-foot-11, 150 pounds
Joel’s Take: One of the stronger guards in the game was Dodsen. He showed solid ball handling skills and vision while dissecting the defense. Overall, he delivered some of the better passes in the event and he got to the rim off the dribble as well.
