Still, there’s a handful of deserving prospects that have somehow eluded the spotlight.
JaKobe Thompson – Racine Case – 2021 – PG:
It’s hardly a stretch to say that Thompson is a division one prospect, but his recruiting footprint isn’t as defined as others. The likely issue is his height. At 6’1” he doesn’t possess a peak physical frame, however he checks all the skill boxes. He’s quick on both ends, a hawk in passing lanes, and an aggressive on-ball defender. He’s a slasher on offense and elite at finishing around defenders.

– Denmark – 2022 – SF/PF:
The 2022 class isn’t too active in recruiting yet, but Short’s intangibles should be attracting attention. He’s a perimeter player with refined guard skills and is beginning to utilize his frame better. More development in the paint and quickness could get him to the high-major stage.

– Milwaukee King – 2021 – SF/PF:
The lengthy athlete out of Milwaukee is more than worthy of a college roster spot. He attacks low and hard for his position and has the ball-handling prowess to do anything on the offensive end. Where he separates himself is his ability to show up consistently and against premier talent. King lost just one game this season (in the postseason), and Murrell traded punches with high-major players at his position on multiple occasions.

– Wisconsin Rapids – 2021 – SF/PF:
Flory posted superb numbers in his junior season, tallying 24.9 points and 8.5 rebounds each night. His strides have come in the form of increased efficiency, as he’s connecting on 53 percent of his looks from the field and 34 percent behind the arc. As he improves his numbers and maintains production, colleges should start appreciating what he offers skill-wise and as a natural athlete.

– Whitefish Bay – 2021 – SG:
Jackson is a pure athlete with refined guard skills. As a muscular, 6’2” backcourt player, he meets the physical attributes to hold his own at the next level, but he hasn’t excelled in grabbing offers like his junior peers. His slashing abilities and effortless playstyle make him an attractive prospect, though, and scouts should take more notice.
