Here is our Film Room: 2022 Chicago North Suburbs Prospects Pt 1!
Nick Martinelli Nick Martinelli 6'6" | SF Glenbrook South | 2022 State #235 Nation IL (Glenbrook South)
Nick is very similar to his older brother Dominic who had a prolific high school career and is now a walk on at Northwestern. The younger Martinelli stands at 6’6” with good length. Crafty driver that is left hand dominant. Shows touch around the hoop and is gritty on the glass. Average athlete. Blocked a few shots. Average shooter. D2s should take a look early.

Cooper Noard Cooper Noard 6'2" | PG Glenbrook South | 2022 State IL (Glenbrook South)
This 6’1” point guard broke out in a major way as a sophomore averaging 11.8 points and 3 dimes a game. He is an elite shooter with deep range on his shot. Excellent moving without the ball with precise movements. Moves with a purpose. Mixes in a floater game off his crisp ball handling. Tough and competitive kid. Passing feel in the open floor pushing it and finding guys ahead of him. Low-major prospect.

Kam Craft Kam Craft 6'5" | SF TSF | 2022 State #54 Nation GA (Buffalo Grove)
Craft is among the best wing prospects in the 2022 class. At 6’5” he averaged 23.5 points and 7.8 rebounds a game this past season. Big time shooter that knocks in contested shots from three. Can create his own shot from deep using step backs. Plays with creativity off the bounce and in the lane finishing with athletic layups or dunks. Good athlete that will need to add strength going forward. Mid-major prospect.

Maher is a small point guard that played this past season on the sophomore team. Solid passer and can hit an occasional shot. Small college prospect.

Chase Bonder Chase Bonder 6'6" | PF Libertyville | 2022 State IL (Libertyville)
Bonder is a skilled four man that has pretty good strength and mobility at 6’5”. Works well in the post with quick and assertive moves. Solid shooter off the catch that can definitely stretch out other post players. Should be priority small college recruit.

Matthew Volkening Matthew Volkening 6'6" | SF Marengo | 2022 State IL (Marengo)
Vokening stands at 6’5” with long arms and a very thin frame. We have always known he is an elite shot maker. That is definitely the case as he has a quick and clean shooting stroke from three. One of the best pure shooters in the class. Also showed he is an outstanding mid-range shooter creating his shot with crisp handles. Much better scoring off the bounce than we previously thought combining his handles and athleticism getting to the rim. Averaged 19.5 points per game as a sophomore. Low-major and mid-majors should have him on their radars.

Keynan Davis (Crystal Lake South)
Davis presents some upside with his 6’4” long and rangy build. Gets elevation on his jump shot and mixes in some runners. High level small college prospect with chance to elevate as his best basketball is ahead of him.
