Wade Taylor Wade Taylor 6'0" | PG Lancaster | 2021 State #103 Nation TX and Harrison Ingram Harrison Ingram 6'7" | SF St. Mark's | 2021 State #15 Nation TX are both two of the top players in the state and they both dominated in their first tournament of the summer. They can both score at all three levels and they are both excellent passers. If they aren’t scoring, they are finding teammates for open three’s. Both Taylor and Ingram have the skills to carry the offensive load for Southern Assault and not many teams have anyone that can slow them down. They are both also excellent defenders and they don’t give up any easy points.
Jacob Millhouse Jacob Millhouse 6'3" | 185 lbs | SG Prestonwood Christian | 2021 TX and Gabe Collins Gabe Collins 6'6" | SF Legacy Christian | 2021 TX – Texas Impact 4:13
Former high school teammates Jacob Millhouse Jacob Millhouse 6'3" | 185 lbs | SG Prestonwood Christian | 2021 TX and Gabe Collins Gabe Collins 6'6" | SF Legacy Christian | 2021 TX have teamed up one final time before their senior years. Millhouse and Collins both played for Prestonwood Christian Academy last year but will split ways for their senior years as Collins is transferring to Legacy Christian Academy and Millhouse is transferring to Frisco Independence. Millhouse and Collins compliment each other on the offensive end and have a good feel for each other’s game due to the fact that they have been teammates for multiple years. They each connected on multiple assists to each other and Millhouse even found Collins for an alley-oop in one of their games. When Millhouse and Collins are both hitting shots, watch out.
Ja’Matthew McGhee Ja’Matthew McGhee 6'0" | PG Grand Prairie | 2021 TX and Cameron Taylor Cameron Taylor 6'7" | PF Mansfield Timberview | 2021 State TX – Texas Legion Elite
Ja’Matthew McGhee Ja’Matthew McGhee 6'0" | PG Grand Prairie | 2021 TX and Cameron Taylor Cameron Taylor 6'7" | PF Mansfield Timberview | 2021 State TX were two of the best defenders in the tournament and made things difficult for opposing teams. While McGhee was locking down opposing guards on the perimeter, Taylor was down low, blocking shots and locking down opposing forwards. They both bring great energy and defense and help their team tremendously on that end of the floor. Offensively, Taylor excels at drawing fouls and scoring around the basket. He also knocks down an occasional three-pointer. McGhee is also a good shooter from downtown and makes big plays for his team. Overall, both of these players are elite and will give opposing teams problems on both ends of the floor.
