Evan Tatum Evan Tatum 6'5" | PF Desert Pines | 2023 State NV 6’3 SF Iso Elite 2022 – Tatum’s size and athletic ability certainly stood out. What makes him a sleeper is the fact that he is in a log jam as part of a young talented crop at Desert Pines. He has some tools though. Tatum is a quick jumper, and good fluid rim runner that is agile enough to catch, and finish in transition.
Cameron Frazier 6’2 SF Swag Elite 2022 – Frazier played with great energy and effort all weekend. I can’t quite put my finger on what his main skill is, but he does enough to have a positive impact on the game. Frazier, will defend, rebound and can get you buckets in transition and off putbacks.
Jamir McNeal 6’2 SF Iso Elite 2023 – McNeal is a long athletic wing defender. He has the foot speed to stay in front of guards, and the length to challenge bigger players. His best skill right now is his ability to simply go get the ball off the glass.
Colton Knolls 5’10 PG All Vegas 2024 (featured image) – Knolls possesses a sweet lefty stroke. He is more than a one dimensional prospect however, he has an efficient handle and showed the ability to make plays for his teammates off the bounce. A high IQ guy, with his shooting, Knolls definitely has a chance to get on college coaches radars down the road.
Demetrius Howard 6’6 C OGB 2022 – They say you can’t teach size and Howard certainly has that. Still more of a project, I was intrigued by Howard’s ability to clog the lane, alter shots and rebound.
Tyler Parr 6’1 PG Swag Elite 2023 – Parr played with good poise throughout the weekend. I like his basketball IQ, and his playmaking ability. I wouldn’t classify him as a shooter just yet, but he showed a willingness to take and make big shots for his team.
Colson Madruga Colson Madruga 6'5" | PF Lake Mead Christian Academy | 2022 NV 6’5 PF Henderson Outlaws 2022 – Madruga has good size for the position. He missed all of last season with a leg injury, so he’s still refining his skill set. Played high post basketball well today, staying ready to catch and make decisive reads with the basketball.
