Maleek Arington Maleek Arington 6'3" | PG Auburn | 2022 State WA (Auburn) – Offered from the University of Montana
A grinder who has been putting in a ton of work this past offseason. Arington is a very savvy and smooth guard that is a vital player for the Trojans. The 6-foot guard is extremely crafty with the ball in his possession and does a lot of things right. Arington is a guard who plays the game the right way on both ends of the court, bringing outstanding leadership and skills helping the Trojans to a 13-1 league record. Maleek has a high IQ, with great court vision and playmaking abilities. A tough guard who does not back down from anyone and plays with a lot of poise. A floor general who can score the ball inside and out.
Braeden Smith Braeden Smith 5'11" | PG Seattle Prep | 2022 State WA (Seattle Prep) – Offered from Eastern Washington University
The 5-foot-11 guard can really scorch the ball from beyond the arc. Smith has a quick release and a nice stroke but also has a tight handle and a bursting first step, making him very difficult to keep in front. A guard who loves to attack the defense and can create efficient opportunities for himself as well as his teammates. Smith loves to push the tempo and exploit any openings in the defense that is can give his team a bucket.
Koren Johnson Koren Johnson 6'3" | SG Wasatch Academy | 2022 #83 Nation WA (Garfield) – Offered from Washington State University, Pepperdine University, and Loyola Marymount University
Johnson has been reeling in many interests from many coaches and you will continue to see his stock continue to rise. A 6-foot-1 guard who is a big-time bucket getter and a winner. Johnson plays at a high level every time he steps on the floor, making everyone around him better and it has paid off, winning the 3A State Championship. A fierce competitor who can have grown into a strong leader. Johnson has already proven that he can score the ball at all three levels early on in his high school career and it will be a scary sight for the opposing teams during his next couple of years.
Bennett O’Connor Bennett O’Connor 6'0" | PG Mt. Si | 2022 State WA (Mt. Si) – Offered from Point Loma Nazarene University
The 6-foot guard knows what it takes to win, proving it this past season, stepping up big time for a stacked Wildcats squad and winning the 4A State Championship. O’Connor is a guard who has demonstrated high-quality instincts on both ends of the court. The guard who very impactful with his shooting ability from beyond the arc but also around the midrange area while also being a good distributor. O’Connor is a junkyard type of player who is extremely gritty, doing anything the team needs to win. A player whose role will increase astronomically next season.
Quin Patterson Quin Patterson 6'7" | SF Mount Si | 2022 State WA (Mt. Si) – Offered from Point Loma Nazarene University
Patterson is one of the most efficient players in the state. The 6-foo7-7 wing is a high academic player as well. A player who has a lot of potential to blossom into an outstanding prospect when his high school campaign is all said and done. Patterson can really shoot the ball well from anyone on the floor and is athletic enough to slash to the rim and finish through contact. A very good rebounder who also displays quality court vision.
Tyler Mrus Tyler Mrus 6'6" | SF Seattle Prep | 2022 State WA (Seattle Prep) – Offered from Cal Poly University
Mrus is a lengthy player at 6-foot-6 who plays with a high motor on both ends of the court. A well-rounded athlete who is hard-nosed and fearless. Mrus can score the ball with his shooting ability from the midrange extending out to the 3-point line but is also crafty around the basket with his finishes and will finish above the rim when given the opportunity. Mrus is also a quality defender, picking the pockets of the opposing team and playing lockdown defense.
Tyler Linhardt Tyler Linhardt 6'7" | PF King's | 2022 State #192 Nation WA (King’s) – Offered from the University of Washington
The 6-foot-7 Linhardt is a very skilled player who is strong and physical. The Knights standout is a phenomenal shooter who is consistent from beyond the arc but is capable of using his physical stature as an advantage over smaller defenders in the paint. Linhardt is also a high IQ forward who has great court vision and a very consistent rebounder. A double-double threat every time he steps on the floor.
