Pritchard inherited the shooting crown for Tulsa’s West-Side following the graduation of PWP teammate Trey Phipps Trey Phipps 6'1" | PG Booker T. Washington | 2020 State #171 Nation OK , and it was long overdue for the sharpshooter from Tulsa Webster; he has been nothing short of fantastic for the Warriors in three years, including 19.4 points-a-game last season as he led Webster to a 23-5 record and State Tournament bid, following a 23.7-point sophomore campaign.
No. 2 — Chase Martin Chase Martin 6'5" | SG Jenks | 2022 State OK | 2023 SG | Jenks |
Martin promises to be one of the state’s most prolific scorers — and a significant portion of his buckets come from the mid-range or farther. He can hit shots out of the dribble, from deep, in movement or from the mid-range at a high percentage as his efficiency is unprecedented among scoring guards his age. Martin’s technique is consistent, while his on-floor iQ helps him in adapting to defenders and taking the right shots at the right times from the right spots.
No. 3 — Ian Sluice Ian Sluice 6'3" | CG Metro Christian Academy | 2021 State OK | 2021 CG | Metro Christian |
Sluice burst into local prominence last summer ahead of his junior season. Since then, he has been among the best sharpshooters and all-around scorers in the region, including a 26-point night against defending state title-bearers on eight 3-pointers on February 8.
No. 4 — Jake Gendron Jake Gendron 6'5" | SF Bishop Kelley | 2021 State OK | 2021 SF | Bishop Kelley |
Gendron’s long-game was outstanding last season. The 6-foot-6-inch bomber has crushing efficiency from beyond the arch thanks to an apparently infallible shooting motion that he rarely compromises. Even when tasked with risky shots from the dribble, Gendron is cool.
No. 5 — Marlo Fox Marlo Fox 6'0" | PG Sand Springs | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Sand Springs |
Fox was no stranger to launching long-range daggers last season. Ahead of his senior campaign, Fox promises to be among the top sharpshooters in the region. With unprecedented range and confidence in his shot, his game should show up in big ways in the Sandites’ greatest tests next year.
No. 6 — Marcal Johnson Marcal Johnson 5'11" | PG Tulsa Rogers | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Tulsa Rogers |
Johnson pulled Tulsa Rogers to a 14-10 record behind 17.2 points-a-game last season while shooting over 50 percent from the field. If you don’t know much about him yet, you will soon.
No. 7 — Caylen Goff-Brown Caylen Goff-Brown 6'2" | PG Tulsa Central | 2022 State OK | 2022 PG | Tulsa Central |
Goff-Brown netted double-digits in each of his first two seasons with the Braves. With the second half of his career ahead of him and surrounded by a depleted scoring roster, Goff-Brown could have a break-out year next season.
No. 8 — Eli Wallace Eli Wallace 6'0" | PG Bishop Kelley | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Bishop Kelley |
Netting over 10 points-a-game on 47 percent from the field, Wallace’s shooting talents landed him a spot on the Tulsa World All-World honorable mention list last season. With a promising outlook for his senior year, Wallace could notch an even better spot next season.
No. 9 — Kam Parker Kam Parker 6'2" | PG Booker T Washington | 2022 State OK | 2022 PG | Booker T. Washington |
As he proved Friday, Parker is primed to take over a significant shooting role as one of the Hornets’ few returning starters from last season.
No. 10 — Grant Gessert | 2021 PG | Metro Christian |
Gessert has elite skill producing his own shots from the dribble. His pace, consisted form and focus culminate in allowing his talents to flourish.
No. 10 — Jimauri Bradford | 2021 PG | Glenpool |
Bradford has the potential to break onto the local recruiting scene next season as a fiery mid-to-long-range on-ball shooter. He scored 11 points-a-night last season with the Warriors.
No. 11 — Isaiah Sanders | 2021 SG | Tulsa Webster |
Sanders’ ability to hit deep shots, especially in transition, is uncanny. Sanders helps the Warriors stretch the floor with his quick release and footwork.
No. 12 — Michael Bomprezzi | 2021 SG | Bishop Kelley |
Bomprezzi is a smooth, reliable and capable shooter who can knock down multiple shots from the catch on hot nights.
No. 13 — Tyler Day | 2022 PG | Mannford |
Day can light up the scoring book and hit tough shots from far beyond the arch.
No. 14 — Jackson Skipper | 2021 PF | Sapulpa |
Skipper is trusting the process now as the post-scorer develops a strong outside game. Chieftains coach Ricky Bruner said Skip could return as his best 3-point shooter and inside scorer in 2021.
No. 15 — Isaac Tiger | 2021 PG | Glenpool |
Tiger is well-acquainted with his feet, allowing him to strike from distance out of the catch or the dribble before defenders can make a move to close out.
No. 16 — Martwon Taylor | 2021 SG | Tulsa Webster |
Taylor is an efficient shooter who can hit floor-stretching deep shots at a high efficiency to lend his team a competitive edge.
No. 17 — Jayden Bridgeman | 2021 PF | Sperry |
At 6-foot-6-inches, Bridgeman is a strikingly talented shooting post. He is reliable from distance and can hit shots at a high rate from the catch.
