#1 Jakel Powell Jakel Powell 6'5" | SF Raleigh Christian Academy | 2024 NC | 6’4 Wing/F | Neuse Christian
Powell was the leading name for Neuse Christian Academy as they made noise in the Mid-Carolina Conference going 7-4. He’s due for a strong prep career as a versatile threat with the ball in his hands on the wing.
#2 Jakwon McKnight | 6’3 Wing/F | J.F. Webb
McKnight is an emerging wing prospect that’s learning to make an impact on both ends. He makes plays when he’s on the floor and as he develops on the offensive end, he’ll be one to watch in the Raleigh-Durham area. He got hurt towards the end of the season but should be back and better than ever when things resume in 2020-21.
#3 Houston Wills Houston Wills 6'4" | SG Holly Springs | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Wing/G | Holly Springs
Wills is a knockdown shooter from virtually anywhere on the floor already. He’s got tons of confidence getting open with and without the ball in his hands to make things happen when the ball does come his way. He’ll be one to keep an eye on at Holly Springs.
#4 Tanner Mikulecky Tanner Mikulecky 6'4" | SG Garner Magnet | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Wing/G | Garner Magnet
Mikulecky spent time on the JV squad for Garner Magnet where he showed off his ability to knock down 3-pointers with unlimited range. He’s got the ability to create off the bounce and does well to read the defense for catch-and-shoot opportunities. As he learns to make plays on the defensive end, he should be a name to watch in the varsity rotation.
#5 Tanner Clark Tanner Clark 6'3" | SF Millbrook | 2023 NC | 6’3 Wing/F | Millbrook
Clark was one of two freshmen to appear on Millbrook’s JV squad and he made the most of it with his ability to making plays behind the arc and in the paint. He showed off his versatility and is an early name to watch, even if he does play JV again in 2020-21.
