#1 Amare Miller Amare Miller 6'7" | C The Burlington School | 2022 State NC | 6’6 F | Piedmont Classical
Miller debuts as the Greensboro area’s top prospect given his production in 2019-20 for the Piedmont Classical Bobcats. He averaged 11.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg and 1.2 bpg as one of their frontcourt threats alongside Evan Joyner Evan Joyner 6'7" | PF Piedmont Classical | 2020 State NC . He’s due for a big boost in production with a ton of senior departures in their starting lineup.
#2 Charles McClennahan Charles McClennahan 6'7" | PF Liberty Heights | 2022 State NC | 6’7 F | Calvary Day School
McClenahan is a forward prospect with a ton of versatility to go with his game. He can operate in the post and stretch the floor with his ability to shoot the midrange and on the perimeter. He’s got nice length and athleticism that he uses well to be aggressive on both ends. Look for him to be a breakout name at Calvary Day School.
#3 Travis Shaw Travis Shaw 6'6" | C Grimsley | 2022 State NC | 6’6 F/C | Grimsley
Shaw is already quite the football prospect on the gridiron with offers from the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Clemson at the defensive tackle position. He’s also quite the basketball player with his high IQ for rebounding and passing the ball. He’ll be a familiar face in the Grimsley rotation on the hardwood for the next few seasons.
#4 Brandon White Brandon White 6'10" | PF Donda Academy | 2023 #146 Nation NC | 6’10 F/C | North Rowan
White is a rising big man prospect that can move on the perimeter and in the post. He showed flashes of his potential as a rim protector and rim runner in 2019-20 as his squad went 22-8 on the year and 14-2 in conference action. He was due for a big spring on the grassroots circuit with Team Felton, but with the current status up in the air, we’ll all just have to wait and see.
#5 Corneilous Williams Corneilous Williams 6'10" | C Combine Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’10 F/C | Moravian Prep
Williams is a new face in the Moravian Prep rotation after appearing at Oak Grove High School in Mississippi in 2019-20. He put up solid numbers as they went 24-4 on the year and 7-1 in district play, averaging 9.5 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 2.3 bpg. Expect his development to take a huge boost in the Moravian Prep rotation.
