#6 – Jacob Swoboda | 6-2 PG | Cedar Park
A floor general with terrific instincts and court vision, Swoboda knows how to command and run an offense. Swoboda is savvy with the ball in his hands and does a great job of facilitating the rock to open teammates. Plays with good body control and is smooth to get to the basket. Has a running floater and mid-range pull-up jumper, but also does a great job at finishing at the rim with either hand. Makes everyone around him better with his passing ability. Earned All-District 17-5A Second Team.
#7 – Tyson Whybrew Tyson Whybrew 6'5" | SF Weiss | 2022 State TX | 6-5 SF | Pflugerville Weiss
A prototypical small forward prospect, Whybrew has good size and frame and plays physical in the paint while also supporting a deep-range shot. Averaged 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in his sophomore season for Weiss. He plays tough and hard-nosed defense and uses his length to get steals. On offense, he is a threat as a spot-up three-point shooter and does a good job off the pick-and-pop. His highlight tapes are also filled with impressive fast-break dunks. Earned All-District 17-5A Second Team.
#8 – Blake Fisher | 6-1 SG | Manor
Fisher is a deep-range sharpshooter with a pretty shot who exploded onto the scene during his sophomore season for Manor. He does a fantastic job of getting off his shot from beyond-the-arc and can hit anywhere from deep. Excels as a catch-and-shoot guard. He’s a tough player who isn’t afraid to get into the paint and battle for boards. Fisher also plays great team defense and is willing to put his body on the line to take charges. Earned All-District 18-5A First Team.
#9 – Hudson Johnson | 6-0 PG | Stony Point
A lethal three-point shooter with NBA range, Johnson shot 47% from beyond-the-arc, 53% from the floor and averaged 12.9 points per game during his sophomore year for Stony Point. With an incredibly quick release and sudden pull-up ability, Johnson is tough to guard as he is a threat to score anytime he has the ball in his hands. He can create his own shot and has a variety of moves to get past defenders and to the basket. Has great touch on floaters and finishes strong near the rim. Earned All-District 13-6A Second Team.
#10 – Trae Leak | 6-0 PG | Leander Glenn
A strong point guard who plays a physical brand of basketball, Leak filled up the stat sheet averaging 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists as a sophomore for Glenn. Leak does a great job of blowing by defenders and penetrating the lane to finish at the basket. Has great burst off the dribble and shows good court vision in the paint when dishing to open teammates. Possesses a sweet deep-range shot from the wing and corner. An instinctive defender who doesn’t hesitate to go after steals. Earned All-District 17-5A First Team.
