#11 – Reese Miller | 5-10 SG | Round Rock
Miller is a huge three-point shooting threat each time he touches the ball from beyond-the-arc. Has legit NBA shooting range and can pull-up from anywhere in the three-point territory. Miller has the ability to create his own shot with smooth handles and a quick release, and he isn’t afraid to nail a three with a defender in his face. In addition to his terrific shooting ability, Miller also possesses a nice floater when he gets into the lane and does a good job of dishing the ball to open teammates. Earned All-District 13-6A Second Team.
#12 – Zachary Engels | 6-3 SG | Round Rock Westwood
Engels had a breakout sophomore campaign for Westwood as a playmaking shooting guard with three-level scoring ability. He is a great three-point shooter with a pretty stroke, but can also drive the lane and out physical the defender and finish at the rim. Engels is also a plus defender who provides a spark with steals and blocked shots. Isn’t afraid to play tough in the paint. Was one of the leaders on the court for the Warriors during their impressive playoff run this past season. Earned All-District 13-6A Second Team.
#13 – Conor McManus | 6-4 SG | Austin Westlake
A big-framed guard who can play either position, McManus is a lethal shooter from both mid-range and behind the three-point line. Does a great job as a catch-and-shoot specialist and has a nice pull-up jumper from mid-range. He has a high release point on his shot and can hit from either the corner or wing. Could potentially grow into a small forward prospect. Earned All-District 25-6A Honorable Mention.
#14 – Joemori Francis | 6-5 PF | Hutto
A tall and lean power forward prospect, Francis did a great job in the paint as a rebounder and put-back artist during his sophomore season for Hutto. Francis knows how to use his length and athleticism to defend the rim. A strong rebounder who is tough on the offensive boards, creating second-chance opportunities for his team. Is a smooth finisher near the basket. Earned All-District 18-5A Second Team & All-Academic Team.
#15 – Jack Francis | 6-2 SG | Austin Anderson
A sharpshooting guard prospect from Anderson, Francis excelled as a spot-up shooter for the Trojans. Francis does a terrific job of moving without the ball, finding open spots on the floor, and is a slasher towards the basket. Isn’t afraid of contact near the basket and still is able to finish at the rim. Can catch fire from beyond-the-arc, but also possesses a pull-up mid-range jumper. Earned All-District 25-6A Second Team.
#16 – Joseph Waring | 6-4 SF | Georgetown
A long and well built forward, Waring plays physical and will fill up the stat sheet. Waring can do a multitude of things on the court from powering his way to the rim to hitting open three-point shots. He crashes the board hard and can be a playmaker on defense. Waring uses his length to his advantage by getting his hands in passing lanes and disrupting opponent’s shots. Earned All-District 18-5A Honorable Mention.
#17 – Julian Smith | 5-11 PG | Austin LBJ
Smith plays with an aggressive edge to his game and it shows up big-time on defense. Forcing turnovers with his quickness and anticipation, Smith excelled at stealing the ball away from opponents. On offense, he does a great job as a floor general creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Smith is a strong passer and has great vision up and down the court. Earned All-District 25-5A Second Team.
#18 – Breyonn Wooley | 6-0 PG | Manor
An incredibly fast point guard prospect who can shoot the rock, Wooley made a name for himself during his sophomore year at Manor. His highlights are filled with a sweet shooting stroke from beyond-the-arc in catch-and-shoot situations. He also shows great burst and reaction skills on defense creating steals and fast-break opportunities. Earned All-District 18-5A Honorable Mention & All-Academic Team.
#19 – Davean Richardson | 6-1 SG | Hutto
Richardson can do it all on the court and he excelled as a defensive playmaker as a sophomore. Averaged 3.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game on a stacked Hutto squad, while playing both shooting guard and small forward. Richardson is an all-out effort player who has the ability to become a consistent three-level scorer. Plays tough on the boards and has good vision dishing the rock to open teammates. Earned All-District 18-5A Honorable Mention.
#20 – Stephen Everett | 6-0 PG | Lake Travis
A combo-guard who primarily plays the point guard position, Everett really came into his own as a deep-range sharpshooter during his sophomore season with the Cavaliers. Moves very well off the ball and coming off screens, and is a lethal catch-and-shoot scorer. Everett also has the handles to get himself open looks and has a nice step-back shot. Earned All-District 25-6A Second Team & Newcomer of the Year.
