Several of these guys have collegiate interest already and plenty of them are gifted scorers already. Let’s take a look at this group and some of their players.
Zion Reynolds Zion Reynolds 6'4" | SF Western Hills | 2021 State OH (Western Hills)- Athletic guard; high motor that runs the floor on both ends of the floor. Plays above the rim and disruptive on the defensive end with a long reach.
Kevon Grant (Northwest)- Taller guard option; comfortable behind the arc and has shown a consistency to knock down shots from beyond the arc. Defensively is a strong rebounder that is able to go up and grab the ball against bigger opponents.
Nolan Burney Nolan Burney 6'6" | PF Carlisle | 2021 State OH (Carlisle)- One of Ohio Player’s best interior players, Burney has a great feel around the rim on the offensive end and strong rebounder on the defensive end. Under the radar guy so far during his career.
Davyon Butler (Meadville, PA)- Long wing; gifted scorer especially above the rim. High vertical leap and can shoot the ball as well. Uses his size as an advantage on the perimeter as well as defensively on the ball.
Cole Thompson (Collegiate, KY)- Quick guard that can push the tempo and get this group out in transition. Great passer and does a nice job of finding teammates in a variety of ways. Will excel with this highly athletic group.
AJ Glover (Independence)- Bouncy wing; while he has shown he can play above the rim, impresses more with his shooting ability.
TJ Grove (Gamble Montessori)- Persistent low block threat, uses a nice spin move with his back to the basket to finish. Runs the floor well for a big man.
Julian Mackey Julian Mackey 6'3" | PG Lakota West | 2020 State OH (TSF Prep)- Gifted scorer; able to take over games with his ability to put the ball in the basket. Not the strongest looking guard, but plays with intensity especially off the dribble drive.
Davion Mace Davion Mace 6'7" | C Cincinnati Woodward | 2020 OH (Dohn Prep)- Rim protector; lengthy interior player that combines his size with athleticism to be a dangerous weapon on both ends of the floor.
Others: Lemaro Husband (Meadville, PA), Brendan Hall (Middletown)
