10 High Basketball IQ PG’s In 2021
We will now look at 5 point guards in the class of 2022 that use their very high basketball IQ’s as a tool in their game.
Chris Boler Chris Boler 5'9" | PG Dearborn ATA | 2022 State MI (PG, Dearborn ATA)
Boler is a prospect to watch out for next season. He’s an intelligent player and a leader on both ends of the floor. Boler reminds me of an old school middle linebacker setting the table on defense. He’s smart with the ball as well, consistently finding teammates in scoring positions.
Kareem Rozier (PG, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Rozier just gets it. He knows that if he out works you, he gives his team a chance to win the game. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone grind more than him. Rozier makes good decisions with his passes and has excellent shot selection.
Brady Titus Brady Titus 5'10" | PG Tri-Unity Christian | 2022 State MI (PG, Tri-Unity Christian)
Titus makes fans of old school floor generals proud. He knows that as a point guard, his job is to be a leader and put his teammates in position to be successful. Titus feels the game and understands what he needs to do in order to get a W.
Tony Williams Tony Williams 5'6" | PG Parchment | 2022 State MI (PG, Parchment)
I’ve been a pretty loud supporter of Williams for over a year now. This young man reads a defense, finds the weakness, and attacks it. Williams can put points on the board in bunches, but he’s smart about when and where to do it.
Brian Woodland Brian Woodland 5'10" | CG Detroit Pershing | 2022 MI (PG, Detroit Pershing)
Woodland is a name to remember for next season. The point guard is on the rise, and his basketball IQ is a big reason why. Woodland plays the game ahead of the action. He takes high percentage shots and hits them a consistent rate.
