With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Small Forwards in Ashton Johnson Ashton Johnson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne South | 2022 State IN , Chad Cox Chad Cox 6'4" | SF Franklin County | 2022 State IN , and Hagen Knepp Hagen Knepp 6'4" | SF Barr-Reeve | 2022 State IN .

– 6’2 SF 2022 – Fort Wayne South (IN)
Stats: 10.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.3 apg
Thoughts: Johnson is big, bruising wing player. He has really good footwork and some touch from beyond the arc. Pretty mobile for a bigger prospect but needs to slim his frame down just a tad. Can create off the bounce a bit with a step-back jumper or in the mid-range with a little spin move layup. Probably at his best when he can utilize a mismatch on the drive. Needs to become quicker but Johnson is an interesting prospect to watch these next couple of seasons.

– 6’4 SF 2022 – Franklin County (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Cox is a tall and aggressive small forward. He has some excellent ball handles and drives really well from the wing. Has a solid jumper from both the mid-range and outside. Rebounds the ball well and plays enough in the middle of the floor and takes advantage of his size and strength. Cox does a good job in providing multiple ways to score the ball. Still has some things to put together but overall, Cox has some untapped potential on the basketball court.
Hagen Knepp

Barr-Reeve | 2022
State

– 6’4 SF 2022 – Barr-Reeve (IN)
Stats: 15.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 2.1 apg
Thoughts: Knepp is a long, thin wing that plays really well. He may not be the strongest player on the court but he does not back down from larger players. He loves to attack the basket and is at his best when he has the open space the run. Pretty solid shooting off the catch and has the ability to get hot from the outside. Needs to continue to get stronger but Knepp is an interesting prospect on a good Barr-Reeve squad.
