With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Point Guards in Armon Jarrard Armon Jarrard 6'2" | PG Mt. Vernon-Fortville | 2022 State IN , Karson Jenkins Karson Jenkins 6'1" | PG Fort Wayne Snider | 2022 State IN , and Leland Walker Leland Walker 5'11" | PG North Central | 2022 VA .

– 6’1 PG 2022 – Mt. Vernon-Fortville (IN)
Stats: 12.2 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.2 apg
Thoughts: Jarrard is a small but very quick lead guard. Runs the floor very well and has some solid court vision. Does a great job in mixing in a drive and shooting from behind the arc. His jumper is smooth and his quickness and small frame helps him get to the rim. Also is really good at locating his teammates and getting them involved in the offense. Jarrard is arguably one of the more underrated point guards in the 2022 class. Keep an eye on this prospect because he has a some talent that needs to be noticed.

Fort Wayne Snider | 2022

– 5’10 PG 2022 – Fort Wayne Snider (IN)
Stats: 5.3 ppg, 1.1 rpg
Thoughts: Jenkins is a smaller guard that has a ton of scoring ability. Is not really a traditional point guard but that is what he will probably be playing at the next level. Doesn’t need a lot of plays run for him but seems to make the right reads. His outside jumper is solid and he does a good job in creating his own shot. Interested to see if he can add driving in traffic to his game. Will obviously need some more size and strength but is on track to be a very good prospect.
Leland Walker

North Central | 2022
VA
– 5’11 PG 2022 – North Central (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Walker can make a case for being not only the best point guard in the 2022 class in Indiana, but maybe the best player in his class also. He is a small lead guard that is extremely tough and fast. His feel for the game is unmatched and he can really set his teammates up as well as anyone. Add in that he is a high-end shooter, he has that balance of offense scorer and setup that just makes everyone around him play at their absolute best. Walker is so hard to stop once he gets going. Currently has an offer from IUPUI and is track to start getting more and more. This prospect is one to watch for these next two years.
