With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Shooting Guards in Carter Lumpkin Carter Lumpkin 6'1" | SG Northeastern | 2021 State IN , Dane Hamilton Dane Hamilton 6'3" | SG Munster | 2021 State IN , and Trevor Taylor Trevor Taylor 6'2" | SG Bloomington South | 2021 State IN .

– 6’1 SG 2021 – Northeastern (IN)
Stats: 18.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.7 apg
Thoughts: Lumpkin is a big guard that makes a ton of plays. He’s got some solid handles and can play both on and off the ball if he wants to. Lumpkin is solid at balancing out driving and shooting. His shot, however, is real smooth and consistent. He just has one of those physical and tough playing mentalities. He should continue his high scoring and maybe even improve his rebounding this next season. Lumpkin has some good upside at the next level.
Dane Hamilton

– 6’3 SG 2021 – Munster (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Hamilton is a big and athletic guard. He has a real physical and aggressive playing style. He loves to drive to the rim and go at defenders. Runs the floors pretty well and is probably at his best when he has room to make a play. Also is an underrated passer as well. He has the size to probably play 2 or maybe 3 different spots at the next level. If you are looking for an aggressive and bruising player, Hamilton is the prospect for you to watch.
Trevor Taylor
Trevor
Taylor
6'2" | SG
Bloomington South | 2021
State
IN
– 6’2 SG 2021 – Edgewood (IN)
Stats: 15.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.9 apg
Thoughts: Taylor is a smooth shooting guard that is strong and sneakily athletic. He has a really nice mid-range pull-up and can get to the rim pretty easily. He sees the floor really well and does not force anything too chaotic. He is not the fastest guard but makes up for it with his athleticism and IQ. Taylor has a lot of upside to him. Would imagine he will start getting more looks from schools this upcoming season.
