Leontae Moye Leontae Moye 6'7" | PF Farmville Central | 2021 State NC | 6’7 Forward | Farmville Central | 2021
Moye is an emerging forward that’s incredibly underrated as a defensive presence in the Farmville Central lineup. He posted seven blocks in their decisive overtime victory over South Granville in the 2A Region Finals, making his presence felt in the paint time and time again. He’s also got nice touch on his shot on his perimeter and attacks the rim offensively.
Jah Short Jah Short 6'4" | CG Farmville Central | 2023 State NC | 6’3 Guard/Wing | Farmville Central | 2023
Short saw some time in the Farmville Central rotation this season, given their dominance (29-2) in 2019-20. He’s a lengthy prospect with a knack for getting to the rim and finishing with authority, as evidenced by the video below. He’s got a chance to be a very solid 4-year prospect for the Jaguars in the 252 area.
Jeremy Dixon Jeremy Dixon 6'5" | SF Kinston | 2022 State NC | 6’5 Forward | Kinston | 2022
Dixon appeared sparingly in the rotation given their senior experience, but with their departure in 2020-21, it opens the door for his role to grow a ton. He averaged 5.1 ppg in 2019-20 while shooting 23-of-38 (61 percent) from 3-point range in the rotation. He’s a versatile threat due for a big boost in production soon in the 252 area.
Daylan Askew Daylan Askew 6'4" | SG Hertford County | 2021 State NC | 6’3 Guard | Hertford County | 2021
Askew is a prospect that can fill it up at volume on the offensive but also makes his presence known on the defensive end as well. He produced 19.5 ppg during his junior season as the Bears went 23-8 on the season and made the third round of the NCHSAA State Tournament. Defensively, he makes his presence known on the ball at every turn and by playing passing lanes. He averaged 3.0 steals per game in 2019-20 as well. He’s one half of their talented backcourt.
Keondre Rodgers Keondre Rodgers 5'8" | PG Hertford County | 2022 NC | 5’8 Point Guard | Hertford County | 2022
Don’t underestimate Rodgers by just looking at his size, or he’ll make you pay. He’s a prospect that put up 13.4 ppg,, 3.9 apg, 2.6 spg and 2.4 rpg in just his sophomore season in the Hertford County backcourt alongside Daylan Askew Daylan Askew 6'4" | SG Hertford County | 2021 State NC . He’s a speedy point guard that can score and distribute with efficiency. He’s got a chance to be very good over the next few seasons in the 252 area.
Israel Powell Israel Powell 6'4" | SF Hertford County | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Wing/Forward | Hertford County | 2023
Powell is one half of freshman duo that’s due to make an impact on the varsity level for Hertford County. He posted 14 points and four rebounds in his debut game for the Bears as a freshman and went on to put up 6.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.6 steals and 1.4 apg on the year. He’s an emerging forward with the ability to get to the paint and finish around the rim in traffic. He’s an early name to get an eye on in the 252 area.
Demari Guess Demari Guess 6'3" | SF Hertford County | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Forward | Hertford County | 2023
Guess is another young prospect to keep an eye on in the Hertford County rotation. He averaged 5.0 ppg and 3.7 ppg in the rotation in 2019-20 with his best performance coming against Northern Nash (15 points on 6-of-7 shooting). As he develops over the next few seasons in the frontcourt alongside Israel Powell Israel Powell 6'4" | SF Hertford County | 2023 State NC , they have a chance to become a top frontcourt duo for years to come.
