The 252 area is chock full of talent on the hardwood. Here’s a look at some names to know with things currently up in the air for the summer basketball season in North Carolina.

Moye is an emerging forward that’s incredibly underrated as a defensive presence in the Farmville Central lineup. He posted seven blocks in their decisive overtime victory over South Granville in the 2A Region Finals, making his presence felt in the paint time and time again. He’s also got nice touch on his shot on his perimeter and attacks the rim offensively.

Short saw some time in the Farmville Central rotation this season, given their dominance (29-2) in 2019-20. He’s a lengthy prospect with a knack for getting to the rim and finishing with authority, as evidenced by the video below. He’s got a chance to be a very solid 4-year prospect for the Jaguars in the 252 area.
