Prep Hoops would of been watching a lot of 2023-2024 this past spring on the Grassroots Circuit. Covid-19 had other ideas and ruined the Grassroots basketball campaign for us. Lets take a look at some names to follow in the years to come from the Rock Hill-Fort Mill Area of the Palmetto State.

Coleman 6’7 is ranked #2 in the Palmetto State 2023 Class. Coleman a long and rangy forward helped the Red Devils win a Class 1A State Championship this past March over Scott’s Branch HS. Coleman averaged 11 ppg and 10 rebounds this past season. Coleman is very versatile on the floor for his young age and will progress nicely in the years to come for Red Devils Head Coach Alex Fair.

Kanye NelsonKanyeNelson6'0" | PGLegion Collegiate Academy | 2023StateSC - Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill)

Nelson plays the game very mature for his age. Nelson can get the ball into the gaps quite nicely while attacking the basket. Nelson really elevates well on his jump shot. Nelson helped the Lancers to a (8-9) season last
