He’s a long and lanky guard with deep range off both the catch and dribble. He’ll be surrounded by athletes able to get to the basket, so his floor stretching range will play a key role for Sizzle.
Jacob Butler Jacob Butler 6'3" | SF Minneapolis North | 2022 State MN (6’2 2022 W, Minneapolis North)- Jacob Butler Jacob Butler 6'3" | SF Minneapolis North | 2022 State MN was a breakout player for Minneapolis North over the winter, and will look to excel on the AAU circuit this summer. He has solid length for his position, and a smooth lefty stroke that he hit at a 40% clip during the high school season. This off-season he’s been working on his ability to create space off the dribble, so coaches will be watching closely to see the types of shots he can hit off the catch or bounce.
Caleb Siwek Caleb Siwek 6'1" | SG Rosemount | 2022 State MN (6’1 2022 G, Rosemount)- A 20 ppg scorer during the high school season, Caleb will be running with Howard Pulley this summer season. The crafty playmaker can score in a variety of ways while using a creative handle to get himself in to space to shoot. His deep range forces defenders to step out beyond the arc to guard him, and Siwek makes them pay when they don’t keep a hand up.
Donovan Smith Donovan Smith 5'10" | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2022 OH (5’9 2022 G, Minnehaha Academy)- Another one of the talented backcourt players running with Sizzle this summer, Donovan Smith Donovan Smith 5'10" | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2022 OH possesses one of the quickest releases you’ll find at the high school level. Despite his size, his release and quick step-back move allow him to create space and get his shot off successfully. He already holds offers from Hampton and Morgan State, and will look to build on that list over the summer.
Carter Bjerke Carter Bjerke 6'9" | C Wayzata | 2022 State MN (6’8 2022 PF, Wayzata)- Don’t let his height fool you, Carter Bjerke Carter Bjerke 6'9" | C Wayzata | 2022 State MN is one of the top shooters in the 2022 class. When given even just an inch of space from the top of the key, the ball is almost guaranteed to find the bottom of the net. Due to his strength and touch in the post teams will be forced to defend him with size, so Carter will look to take advantage and make them defend his shot from the perimeter. D1’s will be following his summer with D1 Minnesota.
Donald Ferguson Donald Ferguson 6'1" | SG St. Cloud Tech | 2022 State MN (6’ 2022 G, Osseo)- Ferguson is an intriguing talent in the 2022 class, as he combines a mature feel for the game with deep shooting range and effort on the defensive end. He appears to have added a bit of size and explosiveness recently, further adding to his versatility as a player. Capable of handling the ball as his team’s point guard, or playing off the ball and coming off screens to shoot from deep, Donald is a player who should be on the radar of scholarship schools.
De’Meiko Anderson De’Meiko Anderson 6'1" | SG Minneapolis North | 2022 State MN (5’11 2022 G, Minneapolis North)- Another intriguing shooter from Minneapolis North, Anderson showed some exciting flashes of potential over the winter. He’s a wiry guard with long arms for his size, and his fluid ball handling allows him to create a lot of space to get his shot off. De’Meiko also has no problem shooting from NBA range, and is confident hitting with a hand in his face.
