June 15th was a big day in the high stakes arena of basketball recruiting. The date marked the first time NCAA programs could contact prospects directly via telephone. Before Monday, coaches had to be somewhat serendipitous in how they contacted a recruit. For example, communication could be apprehended through a third party source (coach) or a secondary funnel via social media. Furthermore, the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown virtually all events that are used to evaluate potential recruits.

Yes, 2020 is not a normal year.

With all of that explained, I would like to get into some of the prospects here in South Florida that have earned offers over the last week. Congratulations to all of them on their continued accomplishments.
